Psalm 51:10 (NKJV) 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,\u00a0And\u00a0renew a steadfast spirit within me.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s very important that we learn and understand that God loves us and wants to help us. He’s not there to yell at us or hurt us. He wants to teach us, train us and bring us up to higher ground.<\/p>\n

Once we understand this, our\u00a0striving\u00a0to be accepted by\u00a0people\u00a0will subside and eventually stop.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s nice to have good friends and family around us at times. It makes us feel good and feel accepted. But, there will come a\u00a0time\u00a0in our life, if we are serious about getting closer to God, when He\u00a0will call us out for\u00a0a season. He will call us away from those friends and family members, wanting us to spend less time with them and more time with Him.<\/p>\n

During this time, we will learn many things. He will teach us to lean on Him more than on our family and friends.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We\u00a0may feel alone at first, and almost feel like we\u00a0are going backwards. But God knows and will help us through those lonely and discouraging moments. It’s a time of removing the things that don’t belong and enhancing those things that do. You might call it a heart-to-heart cleansing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

During this season He\u00a0will\u00a0teach\u00a0us how to trust Him. He will teach us the importance of running to Him with everything first. He will teach us to be ourselves. And to see ourselves, even in\u00a0times when it may\u00a0hurt.<\/p>\n

Change, and the cleansing\u00a0of our\u00a0hearts, does not come unless we see the\u00a0need for\u00a0it.\u00a0But, the Lord is gracious and\u00a0gives us the time and help\u00a0to do so.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If we feel alone today, don’t be discouraged. It\u00a0may be\u00a0our\u00a0season for\u00a0us\u00a0to\u00a0learn more about\u00a0who we are, who God wants us to become, the changes we need to make\u00a0and\u00a0what God wants to do with <\/em>us and through\u00a0<\/em>us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Embrace this\u00a0time with Him, that we may move forward with a steadfast spirit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
