Matthew 6:34 (NKJV) 34\u00a0Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Have you ever stopped and thought about why people spend so much time worrying?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Why do\u00a0we<\/em>\u00a0worry, you and\u00a0me? What causes us to fret and waste time wondering what’s going to happen in certain situations?\u00a0Why do we devote time and energy to speculating and\u00a0contemplating\u00a0the “what ifs”?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

You see, the truth of the matter is that the vast majority of the things we worry about never come to pass.\u00a0So, the time and energy we spent fretting was completely wasted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Worrying\u00a0accomplishes exactly nothing. Zero.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

And, in reality, even if the things happen that we’re worrying about, they are rarely as bad as we might have imagined. And when everything is said and done, we always make it through in one way or another.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If we’re in God’s hands, like He teaches us that we are,\u00a0we will always be\u00a0taken\u00a0care of, even if it’s not the way we had pictured it would be.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Worrying\u00a0does\u00a0absolutely\u00a0nothing to help us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Matthew 6:27 (NKJV) 27\u00a0Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature<\/span>?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

So, when trials or hard times hit, instead of worrying as a first resort and trusting God as a last resort, let’s go to God first! We need to stick so close to Him that there’s not even a big enough gap between us and God for worries to squeeze their way in!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Trust God!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
