Psalm 31:3 (NKJV) 3 For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name\u2019s sake, Lead me and guide me.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Becoming a Christian happens when we truly believe Jesus Christ is the\u00a0Messiah, and that He came to save us from our sins.<\/p>\n

His death\u00a0on the\u00a0cross\u00a0was\u00a0for one purpose; to save us from our sinful nature. He made it\u00a0possible\u00a0for us to have a relationship with God, His Father, and live eternal life in Heaven. Praise be to God!!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Walking daily with Jesus is different than life was without Him. After we become a Christian, we have to decide to allow our relationship with Him to grow deeper. This happens when we open ourselves up to the Holy Spirit, our Helper, and allow Him to come and help guide us each day. He guides us in our prayers and He helps us keep our eyes open and be discerning. This keeps us alert.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Mark 14:38 (NKJV) 38 Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

You know how much more we can see when we\u00a0yield\u00a0to the Holy Spirit? He has a way of clearing our\u00a0vision when we yield our eyes and ears to Him. Things get done when we\u00a0walk by the Spirit, versus walking by the flesh. The verse above says that our flesh is weak. And this is very true.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The flesh is full of itself, and it has no room for anything or anyone else. It’s\u00a0selfish. It will make decisions based on what it wants, putting itself first and above everything else.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The Spirit is out to help<\/em> us in\u00a0any way\u00a0He can. His\u00a0agenda\u00a0is\u00a0to fix\u00a0things and make them right. With Him we\u00a0are\u00a0quick to discern\u00a0right from wrong.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Sometimes we don’t have a lot of time to make a\u00a0decision. It needs to be made quickly, accurately and in that moment. The Holy Spirit will guide us\u00a0in making the right move.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Our walk is so much more\u00a0complete when\u00a0we give Him\u00a0room to help.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

John 14:16 (NKJV) 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever<\/span>\u2014<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
