Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV) 3 To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Have you ever been through a season in your life where everything seems like it’s just about perfect, and you hope it will never end?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s pretty safe to say that most of us have those seasons from time to time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

They’re not all that common. And most times they tend not to last too long. But when they do <\/em>come, we hate to see them go. Sometimes we love those seasons so much that we try to hang onto them long after they have ended.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Doing this can cause us to miss out on what God has in store for us in the next<\/em> season He has put before us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Because we like being comfortable and familiar with things, it can sometimes be hard for us to move forward, preferring instead to stay where we know and understand what’s happening, even if it’s not always the best thing for us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The Israelites did this when Moses led them out of Egypt. God miraculously brought them into a new season of hope and wonder. But because it was unfamiliar to them, and some aspects of it were a bit uncomfortable, they actually wanted to return to the slavery of Egypt!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Let’s be careful that we don’t do this too. It’s OK to enjoy a season, but we also need to make sure we let God lead us freely into the next<\/em> season He has for us, even if it means embracing change.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God will be faithful to lead us through that next season, if we let Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
