Psalm 39:1 (NKJV) 39 I said, \u201cI will guard my ways, Lest I sin with my tongue; I will restrain my mouth with a muzzle, While the wicked are before me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This is surely something that we all need to be reminded of from time to time.<\/p>\n

The tongue; It’s one of the smallest parts of the body, but yet\u00a0very powerful and it can be very damaging.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We have to really try hard to keep it muzzled or quiet at times. I find that in situations where I want to defend myself, it is in those moments that I hear God\u00a0say, “hold it. Don\u2019t say a word”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

But, the thing to remember in those moments is that, most times, saying nothing may actually be saying a lot.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It truly takes\u00a0discipline\u00a0to pull back and restrain ourselves.<\/p>\n

We think it would be better to just speak up and bring\u00a0correction. But God knows better. And there are going to be times when we just need to muzzle it.<\/p>\n

Let God’s spirit guide us. His ways are perfect.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
