Luke 23:21 (NKJV) 21 But they shouted, saying, \u201cCrucify Him, crucify Him!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Why? Why would people want to crucify a perfect, loving and kindhearted man, someone that they knew did wonderful and miraculous things?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Luke 7:22 (NKJV) 22 Jesus answered and said to them, \u201cGo and tell John the things you have seen and heard: that the blind\u00a0see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel preached to them<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

These are the things Jesus was doing. These are the things that the religious leaders were threatened by, causing them to stir the people up to\u00a0hate Him and want Him crucified.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Wow! How can this be? How can something so good be turned around and made to look bad?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s all about our hearts. Our hearts speak\u00a0what is truly in us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Matthew 15:19 (NKJV) 19\u00a0For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

For people to want to crucify a man that was doing such marvelous things, it shows us the power of the heart and what’s in it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

While on the cross, this same Man that they crucified cried out to His Father, “forgive them, for they do not know what they do”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Luke 23:34 (NKJV) 34 Then Jesus said, \u201cFather, forgive them, for they do not know what they do<\/span>.\u201d And they divided His garments and cast lots.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Our heart\u00a0can obstruct\u00a0our vision and mind, causing\u00a0us to make absurd decisions and judgments at times. We need Jesus and the change He brings to our hearts!\u00a0He\u00a0helps us to see things clearly in this world that we live in.<\/p>\n

Ezekiel 36:26 (NKJV) 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
