John 15:5 (NKJV) 5 \u201cI am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I have\u00a0heard, “you\u00a0can do it!”. I have been told, “You can do it if you just try! You can do\u00a0this,\u00a0if you put your mind to it! You can\u00a0really\u00a0do it, you have what it takes!”.<\/p>\n

These words, even though they were intended to encourage me, have actually kept me back at times, because I really believed what people would say to me. I believed that I<\/em> could do it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I’ve\u00a0learned over the years that there are things that, no matter how hard I try,\u00a0I really can’t<\/em> do. On my own, I don’t have what it takes. The harder I tried the more disappointed I was.\u00a0 Anyone else feel\u00a0like that today?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

I have to share what changed me from being disappointed to having peace in regards to this. I learned it was OK to admit that there were some things that I couldn’t do!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

As a matter of fact, in order for me to be able to do what I needed to do, I had to humbly accept this truth. I needed help from Someone.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

But, that wasn’t\u00a0where it ended.\u00a0I needed to learn to ask\u00a0Him\u00a0for help. I needed to listen and take the steps that He\u00a0would tell me to take. And then, I needed to wait; wait\u00a0on Him\u00a0to do His part as well.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Together we got it done! That Someone is Christ. And whatever arrangements He would make, I agreed to follow and line up with.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He is my Rock and my Salvation. He has helped me do things I could never do on my own and I will admit it. Because I’ve learned that without Him I can do nothing. And it’s OK. We can’t do it on our own. We\u00a0need help with what we\u00a0are trying to do. We just need to ask.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Our Lord will help us and He will see us through to the end. Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
