Matthew 15:10-11 (NKJV) 10 When He had called the multitude to Himself, He said to them, \u201cHear and understand: 11 Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s crucial that we pay attention to the words we speak. We must\u00a0watch our mouths if we want\u00a0to get\u00a0ahead in life.<\/p>\n

We are not children. We are adults. We can’t be saying things that are not good; gossip, slander, lies, foul language and negativity. It will hurt us and set us back in many ways.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Our motion with God should always be focusing on moving forward. We should not be setting ourselves back, especially with our own tongue.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If we are wondering today why we are not moving forward, we may need to take a good look at the words we speak.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What are we saying that\u00a0could be defiling us?\u00a0Check ourselves today and make sure our language is clean. And if it isn’t, let’s ask\u00a0God to help us clean up\u00a0our talk.<\/p>\n

We will see\u00a0change and forward motion only when\u00a0we begin speaking words that are pleasing to God.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
