Psalm 139:23-24 (NKJV) 23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;\u00a024 And see if there is any wicked way in\u00a0me, And\u00a0lead me in the way everlasting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Have we ever asked God to search us to see if there are any wicked ways in us? Oh, that is getting right down to the nitty gritty. But, if we really want to change, these are the things we ask God to do in order to help us see what it is that we <\/em>need to do to make the change happen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s not always easy. And in order to even reach this point we have to really want to\u00a0do what is right.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Sometimes we don’t even know what is in our\u00a0own\u00a0hearts unless God spells it out for us. Have\u00a0you\u00a0ever had a moment like that, when you realize maybe some of the things we are participating in are wicked?<\/p>\n

Ouch. We have probably all have had those moments at one time or\u00a0another, or we\u00a0would have never reached a point where we repented and asked God\u00a0for His\u00a0forgiveness.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We don’t have to worry about how many times we have to ask God to forgive us. Because He will.<\/p>\n

What we want to pay close\u00a0attention to is\u00a0if we keep doing the same things over and over again, the same way.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We are always going to need forgiveness for things, but it shouldn’t be for the same thing all the time. God wants to lead us away from the wicked ways of doing things and learn to do things the right way; His way.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Don’t be ashamed, though. Get with Him today and let\u00a0Him search our hearts. He wants to help\u00a0us overcome\u00a0these things.<\/p>\n

Romans 12:21 (NKJV) 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
