Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NKJV) 7 \u201cBlessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,\u00a0And\u00a0whose hope is the Lord. 8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,\u00a0Which\u00a0spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear\u00a0when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

These are beautiful words of wisdom, promise and knowledge!<\/p>\n

Who will be blessed? The\u00a0man\u00a0who puts His trust and\u00a0hope\u00a0in the Lord, not in material things, not in financial riches, and not in\u00a0big success.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This is the man that will be blessed. He will be blessed in all areas of his life! He will be blessed in his schooling, his home, his work, his family, his health, and his relationships.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Why? Because he has settled in his heart to\u00a0give\u00a0his all to God. He holds nothing from Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If God is touching our heart right now and asking us\u00a0to give something very personal to Him, will we do it? Will we give to Him\u00a0that particular thing\u00a0that we hold dear to our hearts? Or are\u00a0we going to\u00a0say, “NO,\u00a0Not now God. We need it\u00a0for our security. It’s really nothing anyways”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If we\u00a0cannot\u00a0let it go, then it’s more\u00a0than\u00a0NOTHING to us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Let’s not put our trust in anything other\u00a0than\u00a0the Lord,\u00a0that we too may continue to walk in His\u00a0blessings\u00a0every day.\u00a0Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
