2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV) 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Prayer is powerful!\u00a0Look what God promises when we take these steps.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He says, “my people”, those called by My name.<\/p>\n

He’s talking directly to\u00a0His\u00a0people. Those who are saved by grace, those of us who\u00a0are His children through believing and trusting in His Son, Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

We are His children\u00a0and He is our Father. He’s talking to\u00a0us<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

God wants to bring healing to each one of us today in a big way. But, for Him to do this we must follow the rest of what He tells us to do in these verses.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

  1. We must humble ourselves. Accept the fact that we need forgiveness and healing, and\u00a0know that we can’t do this on our own. We need God’s help.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n

      \n
    1. We must pray and seek Him.\u00a0Some may say, ” well, He already knows what I need, why doesn’t He just help me?”\u00a0Because our help comes as we obey. When we follow His\u00a0steps,\u00a0we show Him that we are serious about receiving the answers and the help He has for us.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. We must repent for the way we have been doing things and then live to change and\u00a0do it right.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        \n

        What happens after that?\u00a0He promises us that He will hear us, forgive us, and heal our land!! Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

        \n

        Do we want healing in our land today? Consider our own lives… our personal <\/em>land. Is your home in chaos and in need of great restoration?<\/p>\n

        Is\u00a0your relationship with God lost?<\/p>\n

        Are we missing out on\u00a0our\u00a0children’s\u00a0upbringing because we’re too busy working night and day to pay bills, and still never getting ahead?<\/p>\n

        Are we living as an alcoholic\u00a0or drug\u00a0abuser behind\u00a0closed\u00a0doors, but still preaching,\u00a0teaching, and acting like nothing is\u00a0wrong in the pulpit or among\u00a0our brothers and sisters?<\/p>\n

        Are we walking around fornicating, looking at\u00a0porn,\u00a0committing\u00a0adultery\u00a0and gambling our life away, etc.?<\/p>\n

        These are some of the things we need to turn from, the\u00a0sin\u00a0that is destroying\u00a0His people, little by little. This\u00a0sin is\u00a0active in people who love God and who long to walk closely with Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

        \n

        God wants to heal our land. Our nation, and <\/em>our “personal land”. Let us humbly come to Him in prayer, repenting of our sins and turning from our old ways, accepting His healing for us today. God is our Healer!!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
