Jeremiah 17:9 (NKJV) 9 \u201cThe heart is deceitful above all things,\u00a0And\u00a0desperately wicked; Who can know it?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

No one but God truly knows our heart. He knows it\u00a0inside and out. And this\u00a0verse describes\u00a0the state of every\u00a0man’s\u00a0heart.<\/p>\n

It doesn’t sound very pretty, does it?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Although many may\u00a0like to think that this type of heart is only in those people that show themselves by doing bad and evil things, it’s not the case.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

And unless we understand this and accept it, we will never get to a place where God can help us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This is the truth about our own heart, and we need to take it in and hear it personally.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Our hearts need healing, restoration,\u00a0and purifying every day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

James 4:8 (NKJV) 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Drawing close to God, and having a humble and repentant heart will help us take care of those things in our heart. His word will help us and He will draw near to us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He will do a marvelous work on our hearts over\u00a0time if we will let Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
