James 1:19 (NKJV) 19 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In this life, no matter what age we are at, we will need to learn how to get along with others.<\/p>\n

We will either be the one that gives in very easily, even\u00a0though\u00a0we know we are right, just to save an\u00a0argument. Or we will be the one that is not going to\u00a0budge. You know, that “I mean what I say and I’m sticking to it!!” kind of person.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

There are going to be times when God will ask us to be the one to give in, even though we may be right\u00a0in what we are saying or doing. This allows Him to help the one that is\u00a0in the wrong to see themselves.<\/p>\n

In order for them to do\u00a0this, we\u00a0may\u00a0need to let them make a wrong choice and follow through with their actions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Someone very wise once told me, “sometimes\u00a0we\u00a0need\u00a0to\u00a0let them\u00a0go through the fire”. Ouch!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If we intervene, how will they ever see the results of their\u00a0actions or errors?<\/p>\n

There will be times when we need to stand firm and not give in, for sure. But\u00a0just a little reminder,\u00a0that’s not always the case.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Be alert to what God may be saying in that moment\u00a0of disagreement.\u00a0The\u00a0way we carry ourselves\u00a0may help the other person to see where they need to make a change.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Only God knows\u00a0what it will take. Be\u00a0quick\u00a0to listen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
