John 12:37 (NKJV) 37 But although He had done so many signs before them, they did not believe in Him…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The problem here was not that they didn’t have enough signs. There were other underlying issues.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

People don’t always want to see\u00a0things\u00a0for what\u00a0they are. There’s something that takes place when we do. For one, we need to admit we were wrong and\u00a0two, there\u00a0is usually a change that needs to come along with it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

No one can make anyone see things if a person is not willing to see it. And no one can change a person if they are not willing to change. They have to be willing to see with their own eyes and to change in their own heart and mind.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

In the scripture above, Jesus gave them an\u00a0opportunity\u00a0through\u00a0many signs, to see Who He was\u00a0and believe in Him. Why didn’t they believe?\u00a0Because\u00a0of\u00a0their\u00a0will.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We can teach,\u00a0we can\u00a0train,\u00a0and we can go out of our way to make sure we do all that we need to do to help\u00a0people.\u00a0But\u00a0what it comes down to is\u00a0if their will is not in it, and they are not willing to see, listen and take action, nothing is going to happen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

They just aren’t\u00a0willing.\u00a0And we may never know why. We just need to do our part and move on.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Sometimes we don’t want to change because we are not willing. Other times it’s because we like what we hear and see around us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

John 12:43 (NKJV) 43 for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Some of us love the praise of men more. How sad is that?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We\u00a0care more about what people may say or think about us than what God has to say. And because of this, we let them control our thinking, our actions and all that we do.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Man\u00a0did not\u00a0influence\u00a0Jesus.\u00a0Nor\u00a0did they pressure Him into doing anything or\u00a0have control over Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

John 5:41 (NKJV) 41 \u201cI do not receive honor from men<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Man could not move Jesus. Jesus was moved by His Father only.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Is our will lining up with\u00a0God’s\u00a0will\u00a0for us\u00a0today?\u00a0Or is it lining up with man’s will for us, because we love the\u00a0praise from their lips?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Know this; that man is fickle and as soon as we say no\u00a0or disagree with\u00a0them, they will turn their backs on us like they never knew us. God will stick with us through thick and thin!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
