Matthew 18:15 (NKJV) 15 \u201cMoreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Have you ever tried to fix a problem with someone, and they are just\u00a0not\u00a0getting it?<\/p>\n

They just don’t understand what we are trying to tell them. And they continue to do what they are doing, over and over again.<\/p>\n

After\u00a0a while\u00a0we are thinking, “What is wrong? Why doesn’t this one thing ever change? Why do we keep revisiting\u00a0this?\u00a0Are they even hearing what I am saying to them?”.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

No, they are not hearing.\u00a0They’re\u00a0not getting it. They’re\u00a0not listening. They’re\u00a0not letting it in or letting it penetrate. But it’s not always because they don’t understand. Sometimes it is simply because they just don’t want to hear it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

They don’t agree. And if they don’t agree, they stop listening. They\u00a0may nod\u00a0their head like they are listening,\u00a0but\u00a0they’re\u00a0not\u00a0letting it\u00a0in. Our\u00a0opinion at that moment, on that particular topic, means nothing to them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s an awful\u00a0feeling when this happens. It\u00a0can be very stressful and frustrating. But it is the truth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

If they don’t hear us, we can’t keep pushing our opinion on that subject to them.\u00a0It’s not going to fix anything if their ears are stopped up. We can waste a lot of time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Pray and ask God for His guidance and timing. God will let us know when and if they are ready. When He gives us the open door, that is when we can talk and share what is on our hearts. And when we will see progress, because now they have hearing ears.<\/p>\n
