John 15:7 (NKJV) 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

To abide means to continue in one place. In this scripture, Jesus says to abide where? In Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We must continue\u00a0each day in\u00a0Him. His word must be in us. That means that we stick to Him like glue and we don’t move away from Him. No matter what comes against us, no matter what we are facing or going through, none of it should move us\u00a0or separate us\u00a0from\u00a0Him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The devil would love for us to be distracted. Look what we could do if we remained in our walk with Jesus, with no distractions. We would be getting the desires of our heart answered because our\u00a0desires and\u00a0focus would be on the things of God.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Let\u2019s start focusing on the things that God says are important and let go of the things that are not.\u00a0For instance, Jesus healed, delivered and saved the sick. He said\u00a0the well didn’t need a doctor,\u00a0so He went to the sick. Don’t be too quick to run away from those that have issues. Those are the very ones that need us and Who we have in us. They are the sick and they need help.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Luke 5:31 (NKJV) 31 Jesus answered and said to them, \u201cThose who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Jesus didn\u2019t waste time. He went to those who were ready; ready to receive what He wanted to do in them or in their situation. Being ready is being\u00a0willing to listen and take action, by faith.<\/p>\n

James 1:22 (NKJV) 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
