Matthew 19:14 (NKJV) 14 But Jesus said, \u201cLet the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven<\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Children are very special to Jesus. He says in this verse,\u00a0let\u00a0them come to Me, do not forbid them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

As\u00a0parents, one thing we know is that when kids are little we can help them in so many ways. They will look up to us and listen. And\u00a0most\u00a0of the time they will obey what we\u00a0say.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

They stand by every word Mommy and Daddy say as being true.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

This is the time to help them by molding\u00a0them and\u00a0teaching them truth. Kids want the truth!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It doesn\u2019t mean they won\u2019t stray at times\u00a0throughout\u00a0their lives. They may try different things, but our\u00a0voices will remain in their ears as\u00a0authorities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Direct our children to Jesus and His truth. Take time out of our\u00a0busyness\u00a0and theirs. Don\u2019t let them run us around causing us to be too tired to sit with them. Talk, share and show them how to get to Jesus.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

They will follow.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
