1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NKJV) 4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Love rejoices in the truth.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Just as love does not rejoice in iniquity, it does <\/em>rejoice in the truth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Whereas iniquity is based on lies and deceit, truth is none of those. Truth brings freedom and light into all situations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

As we embrace truth, our lives will be transformed. Embracing truth requires that lies be rejected. This alone will push darkness out of our lives to e very large degree.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Love doesn\u2019t just like truth, but it rejoices <\/em>in truth! Why is this so? Because love is rooted in God, and God is truth in its purest form.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Jesus said \u201cI am the way, the truth and the life\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

John 14:6 (NKJV) 6 Jesus said to him, \u201cI am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

So as we walk out God\u2019s love and allow the truth to permeate us, we make it harder and harder for lies and darkness to have any place in us.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

3 John 3 (NKJV) 3 For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Rejoice in the truth and watch darkness flee.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
