Matthew 7:15 (NKJV) 15 \u201cBeware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep\u2019s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s sad we have to watch out for this kind of behavior in the church, but Jesus warned us for a reason. He knew that the enemy would stop at nothing to try to deceive us.<\/p>\n

The enemy uses counterfeit spirits and counterfeit moves of God to pull us off track.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What does counterfeit mean? To make\u00a0in exact imitation of something valuable or important with the intention to deceive or defraud.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

When the devil wants to\u00a0deceive\u00a0us,\u00a0he will do exactly this. He is going to make his deceitful ways look\u00a0as much as he can like\u00a0the real deal. He’s sneaky.\u00a0And he uses people, even so-called prophets.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It can be very hard to know what he is up to if we try to spot it on our own. But, with\u00a0the\u00a0help of the Holy Spirit, it’s a different story.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

There have been wonderful ministers, and people in leadership positions that have fallen because of the counterfeit working\u00a0its\u00a0way in\u00a0and taking over.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Pray for the body of Christ today, that we will see what the enemy is up to, through discernment of the Holy Spirit, before it hits us and our church. That together we may stand up in the name of Jesus Christ and deal with it accordingly!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We need to make sure we don’t give\u00a0the counterfeit, or false\u00a0prophets, a voice or\u00a0a place to settle into.<\/p>\n

Kick out the enemy, in Jesus’ name. Amen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
