John 15:9 (NKJV) 9 \u201cAs the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Father and Son had a very good relationship. They were so close to each other that the Son did everything His Father showed Him.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s the way\u00a0it\u00a0should be with us, as we grow in the things of God, that we aren’t just readers of His word, but doers as well.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

James 1:22 (NKJV) 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We need to take what His word teaches us to do and follow the example set for us. Some things will be easy for us. Some things will be very hard.<\/p>\n

We may want to try to push off the hard things and focus on the easier things, those things that come natural to us. They don’t require as much effort to follow through on.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

We can’t let ourselves get stuck on just doing the things we are comfortable doing. Every once in a while, as the Holy Spirit leads us, we need to mix it up and try something that may be hard or a little uncomfortable.<\/p>\n

In those times, it’s important to ask the Holy Spirit to help us wherever we may be lacking.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

When we love\u00a0someone,\u00a0we\u00a0will find ourselves wanting to obey them even more.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n
