Bible Verse of the Day – 3-13-26

Psalm 100:5 (NKJV) 5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.

As I was recently going about my daily work, I was suddenly overcome by a feeling of deep gratefulness as I contemplated the incredible, incomprehensible mercy of God.

I pondered its effect on my life, and where I might be had it not been for Him redeeming me and calling me His own.

Of course, I will never know what course my life might have taken had it not been for Him. But I know it would be so vastly different than it is now. And that thought is very disconcerting; terrifying to consider, let alone embrace.

I don’t share this to bring attention to myself. On the contrary, I share it to bring to remembrance for you that same truth; without God’s mercy, your life would also be vastly different.

Where would you be today? What path would your life have taken?

So let us be forever conscious of what a miraculous gift has been given to us in the form of God’s love and mercy, and the redemption that has given us life through faith in Christ.

We were once lost, but we have been found, in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Father. Amen 🙏🏻
