Bible Verse of The Day – 9-19-26

Psalm 29:2 (NKJV) 2 Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

There will be times in our lives when we find ourselves in a place that we know only God could have brought us to.

We may realize this after walking through a season when we thought everything was going wrong, only to find out that everything was going exactly the way it needed to go.

Say amen if you’ve been there!

Today, as I sit and ponder the different seasons of my life, I’m in awe of how God was right there through each one. Never once did He leave me to handle things by myself.

Yes, I was scared at times. And yes, I would cry tears due to not knowing what my next step would be.

I also might have questioned things at times. But that mustard seed of faith in me trusted that God would not leave me. And He was faithful through everything.

As long as we have faith and follow Him, He will lead us to our promise land.

Genesis 12:1 (NKJV) 1 Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you.

We will find ourselves in that place. And we will lift our hands and worship Him, for He is worthy!

Amen.

Bible Verse of The Day – 8-25-26

2 Corinthians 4:9 (NKJV) 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—

Prayers are going out for you today.

God is right there with you. You are not alone.

He knows this journey is not an easy one, and He is willing to carry you, protect you and walk you through this each day.

I don’t know who this is for today, but your time of jubilee is right around the corner. You have been persecuted and struck down.

Although you feel broken, you have not been destroyed.

There isn’t a day that goes by that God does not know what you are feeling, thinking, or dealing with.

Take it one day at a time and you will get through this if you don’t give up.

Matthew 6:34 (NKJV) 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Tomorrow will take care of itself; you are not to even think of it. It will come and you will be just fine if you follow God’s words of wisdom.

He is our compass and our rock. Listen for His direction.

Psalm 43:3 (NKJV) 3 Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your tabernacle.

Amen.

Bible Verse of The Day – 8-21-26

Psalm 18:2-3 (LSB) 2 Yahweh is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. 3 I call upon Yahweh, who is worthy to be praised, And I am saved from my enemies.

Some days we just need to be reminded who God is and that He is faithful.

For me, today is one of those days.

I am wrestling with sadness, and even fighting back tears today, as I ponder some of the things that I see others going through.

Some of these burdens are heavy. But I know they are not mine to carry alone.

It is God who gives me strength to bear them and to pray.

He is my shield. And if you allow Him to, He will be your shield as well.

One thing I’d like to make you aware of in these verses is the word “rock”.

That word is literally translated as “crag”.

What is a crag?

It is a steep, rough, or rugged mass of rock that sticks out from the land around it. Crags are not easily scaled or conquered by those attempting to climb or overcome them.

And so it is with God. He cannot be overcome by adversaries.

Let us take refuge in Him, where we are safe from our enemies. And let us call upon Him and draw strength from Him as we face those adversaries.

For He is worthy to be praised.

Amen 🙏🏻

Bible Verse of The Day – 8-3-26

Psalm 46:1 (LSB) 1 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.

Do you have trouble?

Are there difficulties in your life?

It’s OK to admit it if you do. Nobody’s life is perfect or without trials and tribulations.

What’s important is to understand that we are not without help or hope.

God is or help. He is our refuge.

This could also be rephrased to say, “our impenetrable defense”!

In this world, there are no defenses that are impenetrable. It’s an impossibility.

But with God all things are possible.

Matthew 19:26 (LSB) 26 And looking at them Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

Now, we may look at Psalm 46:1 and say, “what does a present help mean?”.

A present help means a help that has been found to be reliable, or proven to be a reliable stronghold in the past, so that any future calamity is no reason to fear.

We need to recognize that God is that One who is reliable, steadfast; One we can depend on in any situation we find ourselves in.

Run to Him today.

Hold fast to Him.

Know that He is the strength you need as you face your battle head-on.

He never fails us.

Bible Verse of The Day – 7-31-26

1 Peter 4:19 (LSB) 19 Therefore, those also who suffer according to the will of God must entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing good.

This is an intriguing verse. But what it really means can be a bit tough to decipher if we look only at this verse alone, without the surrounding verses to show us its true depth and meaning.

Let’s dig into this and see what we can learn from it!

The words allude to suffering “according to the will of God”. So, let’s start there and see where it leads us!

If we step back to get the 40,000-foot view, we will see that in the verses preceding this one, Peter was speaking to fellow believers about suffering for being a believer.

He spoke briefly about making sure we do not allow ourselves to get caught up in the affairs of the world in a way that causes us to suffer “as murderers, thieves, and evildoers” (V15-16). His point being that believers should live peaceable lives that reflect God’s holiness and bring glory to His name.

Peter then turned his focus to the body of Christ, which he warned must endure and heed the chastening and purging hand of God as part of His discipline for those He loves (V17).

Peter then quotes Proverbs 11:31, from the Greek translation of the Old Testament, “And if it is with difficulty that the righteous is saved, what will become of the godless man and the sinner?” (V18).

He is not insinuating here that salvation is uncertain (difficult to obtain), or that it can be lost through lack of effort, which would equate salvation being earned.

He is making it clear that, as followers of Christ, we will face trials and difficulties. And these should be viewed as being refined through tribulation. God refines us by taking us through the fire, not around it.

And finally, Peter, through the inspiration and leading of the spirit of God, states that as we suffer by the will of God, we must entrust our souls to Him as we continue to do what is good and right (V19).

And it is doing so that we find our peace, for He is faithful.

Amen

Bible Verse of The Day – 7-30-26

Isaiah 50:7 (NKJV) 7 “For the Lord God will help Me; Therefore I will not be disgraced; Therefore I have set My face like a flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed.

Today, as we pray for those who have sent us emails or called us on the phone to let us know of their situation, our faith is joined with you.

We are believing for God to do a mighty, powerful work in your life and in the lives of those you’ve asked us to pray for.

As we join together, He is with us.

Matthew 18:20 (NKJV) 20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

He is right here in our midst. Praise God!

He hears our prayers, He sees our faith, and He will move the mountain that stands in front of us.

Matthew 17:20 (NKJV) 20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

Don’t doubt Him today.

Don’t long to go back to the way things were.

Don’t think your situation is too hard for Him.

Don’t faint.

Set your face like a flint and march forward; the Lord will help you!

Amen.

Bible Verse of The Day – 7-15-26

Matthew 6:31-32 (LSB) 31 Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ 32 For all these things the Gentiles eagerly seek; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

There is something about learning godly contentment that goes far beyond what words can describe.

Jesus taught us in the verses above that we should not worry about what we will eat, or what we will wear.

And if you think about it, those are the things that people worry about most often; food and clothing.

We fret constantly about them. They are the things that are most important for our survival.

And yet, for all the times when we have fretted and worried, how many times have we been without?

As David said in Psalm 37:25, I was young, but now I am old.

I was once young. I am now no longer young.

And one thing that I can say with complete confidence is that God is faithful.

We have walked through some devastatingly difficult times in our lives, and we can proclaim truthfully and boldly that we have never gone without.

God has always supplied our needs.

And in that, we have learned to be content, whether we have had little or much.

He has taught us that treasure does not lie in earthly material possessions, but in trusting Him and valuing godly contentment over everything.

So, we say to you, “trust God’. Learn to be content. And stop worrying about what you will eat, drink, or wear.

Be content. Trust Him. And watch Him move on your behalf 🙏🏻

Bible Verse of The Day – 7-3-26

Psalm 46:1 (LSB) 1 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.

As we face trials and difficult seasons in our lives, there can be many things we are unsure about.

And these things can cause us great anguish, fear, and anxiety if we allow them to.

But as we face these things, it is important for us to remember in Whom we place our trust; God, the King of Glory, the righteous One on high, Creator of all we see.

He is a strong tower. The righteous run to Him and are safe.

Proverbs 18:10 (LSB) 10 The name of Yahweh is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is set securely on high.

He is forever the same; trustworthy yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He never changes.

Hebrews 13:8 (LSB) 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Though we will face difficulties in our lives, we are never without help.

It is up to us to seek His help and His guidance.

What will we do?

Will we try to face and fix everything on our own, or will we accept the help He offers us?

John 14:26 (NKJV) 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-5-26

Jeremiah 33:3 (NKJV) 3 ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’

God is so very personal. He knows us inside and out.

His touch is so deep at times it makes you want to fall to your knees in awe.

Many years ago, after a Sunday morning church service, someone handed us an envelope. They said it wasn’t from them, but the person that gave it wanted to remain anonymous.

On the way home, we opened up the envelope; it contained $333.

We knew God was touching us right where we needed Him to touch us.

It hit us right in the heart, and we broke down in tears. Why? Because no one else knew our need at that moment.

Only God knew. But yet He touched someone to help us in our time of need. It was so very personal.

God has moved in very personal ways throughout our walk with Him.

You may be reading this today and saying, but I need God to touch me personally, I need Him to help me in my situation.

He will. Call to Him and then trust Him. Wait for His answer. Obey what He says to do. And when He brings it, know that it is Him and thank Him.

He’s never late. He never comes up short. He never leaves us hanging. He’s right on time, and He will not forsake us.

Hebrews 13:5 (NKJV) 5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

He waits for you to call on Him and then be ready. He will show you great and mighty things!

Amen.
