Psalm 116:1 (NKJV) 1 I love the Lord, because He has heard My voice and my supplications.
David shows us the importance of talking to God here in this Psalm.
Some people may think they are not good enough or don’t have the right words. Some may think they don’t know the proper way to address our Heavenly Father, so they hold back and say nothing.
God is waiting to hear from us today. Jesus tells us how to get to Him by using our voices.
We don’t have to wait to go through any other person. We speak directly to God through the precious name of His Son, Jesus.
We don’t have to have the perfect words to say. What we say and how we say it is fine with God. He will listen, and He will hear us.
David was not a perfect man. He had his faults, his sins, just like we all do.
Don’t hold back, thinking we can’t go to Him because we don’t have the right words, or because we have done terrible things and He won’t hear our voice.
Jesus Christ sacrificed His life so we can come to Him. God is saying to us today, “speak to Me in the name of My Son. I am listening. Through Him I will hear your voice”! Amen.
John 14:6 (NKJV) 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
