Bible Verse of The Day – 6-20-26

Romans 15:13 (NKJV) 13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Sometimes it’s hard to remain hopeful. Everything around us seems to work to bring us down; to exhaust us and cause us to reach a point of throwing in the towel and giving up.

Someone out there today needs hope. You are tired from the fight, and you are about to let go.

What if I were to tell you that if you ask God for the power of the Holy Spirit to be poured out upon you and give you that hope you need to get you through the rest of this season, He will come in like a mighty rushing wind and fill your heart with all joy, peace and hope to get you through this season that you’re currently in.

Give God a shout out…

Dear God,

My fight is getting harder. My body is getting weaker, and I need your hope to fill me and keep me standing.

Lord, Jesus, I’m asking You today. Please fill me with the power of the Holy Spirit, that I may finish this race and cross the finish line.

Thank you, Lord. For I know that You are faithful!

In the name of Jesus Christ I pray 🙏🏻

Amen.

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-25-26

Psalm 119:114 (NKJV) 114 You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word.

In our devotional on Monday, we discussed the importance of hiding God’s Word in our hearts to help overcome in our lives as shared in Psalm 119:11.

Today, let’s look at another Psalm that encourages us to make God our “hiding place and shield”.

We face many obstacles in life; things can cause us to become fearful and hopeless if we allow them to.

But when we trust in God, He is our source of hope. Our hope is not found in our own ideas, or the suggestions of others who may try to help us when we are in times of need or desperation.

As we grow and mature in Christ, we learn that nothing can give us hope and reassurance like God does.

We begin to understand that He is our source of truth, understanding, and hope.

And, as we discussed on Monday, His Word brings understanding and encouragement to our hearts as we dedicate ourselves to learning it.

You see, as we spend that time reading and studying, He imparts truth into us, strengthening our spirits and fortifying the foundations of our faith.

And when we faithfully put in the time and effort to make this happen, the worries and fears that once stood as momentous obstacles in our lives become a distant memory of who we used to be and how we once lived.

Get His Word in your heart. Make Him your hiding place. And trust Him with everything about your life.

There is none like Him 🙏🏻
