Bible Verse of The Day – 3-21-26

Zechariah 4:6 (NKJV) 6 So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.

By the Spirit, this is how victory comes.

Some of us think we must do all the work to get our victory!

And there will be some things that God will direct us to do, but waiting on His timing is a must.

This has got to be one of the hardest things for me to do. I don’t like to wait. It’s just the way I am. I like to just get it done.

I have had to undo things at times that I tried to help Him with because I did not want to wait any longer.

It’s not fun undoing things. As a matter of fact, it can be a painful process. But that’s what happens when we don’t wait; we get in a jam.

How many people like me have faced the “JAM?”

“I’ve got this, Lord. I’ll just go ahead and help You out!”

Oh boy, talk about a mess. And then I find myself asking for forgiveness with a desperate cry of, “what do I do now? Please God, I need you. I’ll wait this time.”

Many of us have been there. But we don’t need to stay there.

Waiting on God is something we will all grow into and do it gracefully after a few times of trying to run out ahead of Him.

The good news is that His Spirit will conquer whatever it is that we’re facing if we can wait long enough for Him to do His work and we obey Him as He directs our steps!

Isaiah 45:2 (NKJV) 2 ‘I will go before you And make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron.
