Proverbs 8:17 (NKJV) 17 I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.
If we love God, then He loves us! It’s that simple.
It’s not like with people; we don’t have to earn His love.
We must love Him from our hearts.
We can’t pretend we love Him. Because the God of all creation knows our deepest thoughts toward Him.
Psalm 139:1-2 (NKJV) 1 O Lord, You have searched me and known me. 2 You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.
And we can know ourselves by watching how we handle ourselves, and by the things we participate in.
If we say we love Him with our mouth, but we don’t obey His commandments, doing the opposite of what He wants us to do, we may not love Him as much as we would like to think we do.
John 14:15 (NKJV) 15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments.
Ponder this verse and let it penetrate deep within us.
We may love Him just so much but need to grow in following Him more closely in certain areas of our lives.
God loves us as we love Him. Let us grow closer, seeking Him and His instructions daily, and we will find Him with the answers and help we need!
