Psalm 128:2 (NKJV) 2 When you eat the labor of your hands, You shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.
We should eat the labor of our hands!
We shouldn’t work so much that we can’t enjoy what we work hard for.
Take time away, maybe a vacation. Do something fun within your means, and don’t feel guilty!
We shouldn’t wait until we are too old and can no longer do certain things. We should eat the labor of our hands, live balanced, and be happy!
If you have not taken a vacation, or are stressed out even thinking about taking a little time off from work, you need to do what it takes to do just that; take some time off.
Maybe a stay-at-home vacation (Stayca) is calling you.
Exodus 16:30 (NKJV) 30 So the people rested on the seventh day.
Your seventh day is long overdue. You’re tired and need rest.
This doesn’t mean you have to take a big, expensive getaway. But you do need to shut your mind off, rest, and enjoy the labor of your hands.
That is your word for today.
