Matthew 6:34 (NKJV) 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Thank you all for the wonderful birthday wishes and encouraging words you recently sent via email for Pastor Curt’s birthday.
Life is a funny thing.
When you walk with God, you find yourself just taking it one day at a time, because it’s all He expects.
He doesn’t want us to go any further than one day, because He says that is enough. Tomorrow is another day.
If you are going too fast in your thoughts, slow down.
Looking too far ahead is not good for us, and God does not require or even expect it.
He knows what we can handle, and one day at a time is enough.
On this particular “one day”, as I awoke, I picked up my phone as Pastor Curt & I do each morning, to check our messages and to verify that our Bible Verse of The Day devotional was successfully sent to everyone.
When I read the messages that came in that morning wishing Pastor Curt a Happy Birthday, the words that you shared with us touched us both deeply, as if God knew exactly what we needed to hear.
These were not just a “Happy Birthday”, although that would have been very nice too. But some very powerful words of encouragement were written in those messages. And boy, sometimes words like that just hits you.
Learning to take it one day at a time is not always easy, always trying to prepare for this and that, etc. But through it we have learned that God knows when to send encouragement in different ways. And this day He chose you to do it through.
We want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts, and tell you that you are amazing and we are so very grateful for you.
With joyful tears, God has truly blessed us, and we are happy to have you all.
Be blessed!
