Matthew 22:37 (NKJV) 37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
Are we looking for love in the wrong places?
Look to God first. His love will satisfy our every need. He is the One that knows how to love us best. He has loved us right from the beginning!
He is so passionate about us. He wants all of us, not just a part of us.
He knows how to handle us without breaking us. His perfect touch on our hearts brings correction and keeps us in our place. He will never leave us, even if He is not happy with us at times.
What else could we want? Learn to love God first and then our heart will be ready to love others.
1 John 4:19 (NKJV) 19 We love Him because He first loved us.
