Bible Verse of The Day – 10-17-12

(1 Cor 10:13 NKJV)  No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

Are we reaching out for God’s help to escape the temptation today?

There is so much temptation in this world that we live in. We all know this; it’s not an easy thing. Everywhere we look women are half naked, showing themselves. They don’t seem to know how to dress modestly anymore.

Men don’t know how to keep there eyes and comments to themselves. They don’t care if you are married or not… they will look lustfully at another man’s wife without any guilt or conviction.

Liars, homosexuals, alcoholics, drug addicts, thieves… you can escape the temptation today. God has made a way.

Movies and TV shows today are loaded with vulgar words and dirty scenes. So much of secular music today is full of filth and lust. What are we doing about it?

We need to take a stand and be strong today! God has made a way for us all to escape these temptations.

If you are struggling in an area, with something that you know you need to stop, contact us today so we can be praying for you.

Being tempted isn’t wrong. It’s what we do when we’re tempted that shows us who we are and where we are at.

No one is perfect, we all struggle, and we need each other.

  1. Dear Pastor,

May God Bless you and your wife. May 2013 be filled with blessings and may His abundant love overshadow both of you and your fam. This morning the scripture was broken for me via you and I praise God that I’m able to do all things through Christ that give me strenght. God Bless! Elma

  2. Thank you, Elma. We appreciate your kind words and your prayers for us 🙂
