Ephesians 2:11 (NLT) 11 Don’t forget that you Gentiles used to be outsiders. You were called “uncircumcised heathens” by the Jews, who were proud of their circumcision, even though it affected only their bodies and not their hearts.
Our salvation in Christ was once something that nobody could even imagine, never mind comprehend it.
The Jews looked down upon anyone who wasn’t Jewish. Gentiles were outsiders. We weren’t worthy to think that we could ever approach God or be considered one of His children.
Little did anyone know, though, that God had a plan for us, to bring us into His kingdom and give us the opportunity to be called His children!
When Jesus breathed his last breath, the veil of the temple was torn in two, giving us direct access to the Father!
Mark 15:38 (NKJV) 38 Then the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.
The death of Jesus bought us, through the shedding of His blood, and we now have the opportunity to become His children.
John 1:12 (NKJV) 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name…
What an awesome God we serve, with unlimited compassion and unconditional love for us.
Consider this today, and let it put a smile on your face every time you think of it.

Please pray for my wife Isabell. You may remember that some time ago I had asked you to pray for her relief from chronic back pain and you had sent me a prayer. She is going through a procedure today that over the next 6 days will test whether she is a candidate for an internal spinal stimulator to relieve her from pain. Please pray for her procedure today and for her trial that it might be successful according to His will and for her well being. Thank you.
