Psalm 28:7 (NKJV) 7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.
Some of us need change really badly. Everything has been the same for so long it’s wearing on us and causing our joy to be sucked out of us. We have become unhappy and feeling empty, not wanting to be around anyone or anything, afraid they may see this side of us.
There is nothing that makes us happy. All we do is put on a fake smile and get through each day. All the beauty that is around us is lost in the neverending feeling of wanting something to happen, wanting some change to come into our situation.
We are not going to say go ahead and give in to to those feelings. But instead we say right now is the time we have to push ourselves even more to find the good in things every day, despite how we feel and what we see going on.
This is the time to persevere, the time to go above and beyond how we feel and what we think. Time to push harder than we have ever pushed before. It’s not over and we don’t give up.
Praise God in the storm. With every ounce of strength in us, open our mouths and praise Him. HOLD on tight; He is our strength and our shield. Amen.
Change will come!!
