Bible Verse of The Day – 8-11-19

Please click to watch the video now.Greetings in Jesus’ name!

Prayer is something we talk about frequently. Prayer is a very important part of our walk with God.

In today’s video, Prayer, we do just that; we pray.

We take time to pray for you and for anyone who happens to watch the video.

God moved on us to do a video where we do nothing but pray. So, we obeyed Him and recorded this video.

God was present as we recorded. We hope you will join us, pray with us, receive from God and pass it on to others.

Bible Verse of The Day – 8-8-19

John 14:14 (NKJV) 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

If we truly want God’s answers, we have to pray.

I say this with all sincerity. I have seen God move through prayer so much in my life and in such a powerful way that it makes me want to stay praying all day long. Why? Because God’s desire to help people is so strong, I want to lift everyone up in prayer because I know that God moves.

Prayer is essential for us in order to stay close to God. It allows us to be able to follow God and to know what He has for us in the time and hour in which we live.

It might be a correction in our step, or a healing in our body.

It may be specific directions to escape or overcome our problem, or deliverance from our addictions.

Asking people to pray for us is OK. The Bible tells us to pray for each other. But, we must remember that just because we have someone praying for us and with us, we still need to be praying for ourselves and others as well. We absolutely need to spend time with God.

Some people won’t even attempt to pray. Why? Because they think they don’t know how to do it correctly.

The most important things we need to know are these; 1. He is God, Jehovah Jireh, El Shaddai, Majesty, Creator, Heavenly Father. And, 2. the only way to Him is through His Son Jesus Christ. That’s it.

John 14:6 (NKJV) 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Some may think asking God for what they need is inappropriate. They may feel guilty because they see others going through difficulties and they don’t want to bother God or take away from the needs of others.

This is not of God. This thinking is wrong. And it can be prideful, even though on the surface it appears to be humble.

You see, the devil doesn’t want us to go to God and ask for things, because he knows that if we go in faith, with the right heart, and through His Son, we will see God move.

The devil will use deceitful thoughts, or pride, to stop us from asking, to stop us from getting our answers. He wants us to suffer and not get ahead in this life.

He doesn’t want us to know that we can go to God, pray, ask and receive. No. That would change us from leaning on our own understanding to resting and trusting in God.

That may cause us to walk in humility, leaving behind pride, arrogance and trying to figure everything out based on our own intellect.

It would rock this world if our relationship and trust were ever so strong in Him.

People of God, we are missing out on God’s faithfulness, guidance and victory if we are not praying and going to Him for guidance on a daily basis. If we keep running to and depending on others to pray for us, we are missing out.

God desires our fellowship through His Son.

This doesn’t mean that it’s bad to ask for prayer from others. It simply means that if we do ask others, we need to continue to pray as well. We can’t just leave it all up to someone else to find our answer.

1 Corinthians 1:9 (NKJV) 9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-9-19

Matthew 6:33 (NKJV) 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

When everything in us is screaming to pray for what we think we need, but instead we ask for what He wants or sees fit for us, this is a good place to be in our hearts.

There are many things we may think we need to help our present situation. But God knows exactly what it will take, and if we go to Him before starting off on our list, He will be sure to show us what will get the job done.

As I was praying this morning, God impressed on my heart that one of the things that I prayed about had touched His heart, and it was something He needed to hear.

I thought to myself, “what in the world could I have possibly said to God that would touch His heart and was something He needed to hear?”.

He said, “when you said to Me, to not let anything come between us, no wealth, no material thing, nothing that may pull us apart or bring separation or distance in our relationship. It touched Me.”

He shared with me that many come to Him in prayer begging for material blessings and wealth, temporary fixes. But the thing we need most we don’t mention.

I am not saying that we should never go to Him and ask for things as such, but it should not be our focus and the only reason why we spend time with Him.

Seek after Him first, and all the things we may think we need shall be added to us.

Bible Verse of The Day – 11-4-18 – The Key to Answered Prayers

Please click to watch the video now.Greetings in the name of Jesus!

We all pray for things. What we pray for varies greatly based on our situation and our needs. And we all hope that our prayers will be answered. And some of them do get answered. But how can our prayers be answered more consistently?

That’s the topic of today’s video,  The Key to Answered Prayers.

Please click here to watch the video now.

Many of us have been taught that we should have someone pray for us, and then we just leave it there, as we wait on God to answer. But this isn’t what God teaches us.

Please click here to watch the video now.

Others have been taught that we should have someone lay hands on us. And then we sit back and wait. This also is not always correct.

We hope today’s video will shed some light on some things that you may have questions about.

Trust God in all things and follow His leading.

Bible Verse of The Day – 9-26-18

1 Thessalonians 5:17 (NKJV) 17 pray without ceasing…

Praying before we start each day will help us in so many ways. As we do so, it helps us to stay close to God. It can also help us avoid a lot of unnecessary things and dangers that we may encounter otherwise.

One morning I had picked up my Grandchildren. They wanted to spend some time with us.

On the way to our house, they wanted to go to the store. So, me being the Grandmommy, I said, “of course”.

As we got into the store, the kids walked ahead of us. They were close by, in sight and within hearing distance. But my granddaughter was out in the front of us all, heading toward the toy aisle. She was excited and smiling, knowing that she was going to get a little toy.

I then noticed a man around 30 – 35 years of age come in through a nearby entrance. He stood out to me because I could see him looking intently at my granddaughter, and I got an awful feeling in my stomach.

She turned to go to the toy aisle and he was right behind her, not realizing we were right behind them.

I immediately called her by name and she stopped. I said, “wait up for us.” He kept walking to where the toy aisles ended and then circled back around.

As we reached where she was, he walked by the aisle, looking down it to see if she was still alone. He realized she wasn’t alone and walked right back out the same door he came in. Everything about this encounter says that he was on a mission with evil intent.

I believe God protected her that day. And that is what prayer does. I am so very thankful and I don’t take it for granted.

As we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, God moves! Giants fall, situations change, healing comes, victory comes, restoration and protection take place.

Colossians 4:2 (NKJV) 2 Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving.

God is faithful!! Amen.

Bible Verse of The Day – 9-17-18

Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV) 6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Praise the name of our God! He has been faithful.

There have been many prayer requests come in during recent weeks. Some for healing, some regarding medical test results.

Some are job-related. Some are for upcoming surgeries. Many are for strength and direction to get through a specific situation.

Some are for marriage issues. Others are prayer requests for children, etc.

No matter what comes in, it is immediately lifted up to God. Why? Because He is our answer. He is our safe place and He can handle whatever we bring to Him.

We believe with all our hearts that He is answering you.

Maybe some of you have already gotten through and you are on the road to recovery in your situation. Please let us know if your answer has come or if you have anything else that you are in need of prayer for.

God is faithful! He will get you over this hump and onto a smoother path. Don’t give up. Hold on and press in with your faith. He’s not done yet.

And when He brings you through, don’t forget to thank Him. He looks forward to our thanks. Amen.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NKJV) 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Bible Verse of The Day – 8-10-18

James 5:16 (NKJV) 16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Taking time out to pray for each other is a must. To pray for family, friends, work, relationships and other things that arise throughout our day needs to be a priority.

Prayer helps many people; people that have no hope, no trust, no knowledge at times.

Prayer helps usher in healing for sick people. Prayer helps bring direction and protection in many situations. Prayer stops spiritual battles and so much more.

Through the name of Jesus, we have been given authority and we can lift up any given situation to Abba Father and He will hear our prayer, our need or someone else’s need.

Don’t stop praying. Fit it in daily and go with it. Lift up our cares and concerns and entrust them into the hands of our Daddy, through the name of Jesus Christ.

Things turn around through time spent in prayer. Families and marriages are restored through prayer. Healings take place through prayer. Children are changed through prayer. Financial breakthrough comes through time spent in prayer.

Pray, pray and pray some more.

Rejoice today in knowing that when we pray we are heard. And answers come! Amen.

Psalm 34:17 (NKJV) 17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles.

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-22-18

Psalm 55:17 (NKJV) 17 Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice.

Morning time with God is a great way to start the day. But if mornings don’t work for us, for whatever reasons, there are other times. He doesn’t go away or get mad at us just because it doesn’t happen first thing in the morning.

Being determined that we are going to spend time with Him at some point throughout the day is what’s important.

Some of us may have a very busy schedule at times, and we don’t always get to do what we want, when we want.

But if we are determined that we will not let the day go by without spending time in prayer, we will make the time and we will be glad we did!

The key is to tell ourselves, set it in motion and be determined to follow through. We have to make it a priority, or the time will get used up doing other things.

It’s not going to always be the same time, and some days we may have a smaller amount of time in prayer. But, it’s not about the amount of time. It is about making the time. Every little bit HELPS.

God is willing to be there at our convenience and hear our voice, so let’s be willing and determined to meet Him there. Amen.

Bible Verse of The Day – 11-2-17

Psalm 24:10 (NKJV) 10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory.

I am reminded today of my King of glory. My heart is full with thankfulness and I am overwhelmed with all that He has done throughout this year.

Prayer is a powerful tool that our King has granted to us. If we knew how much prayer does, we would spend more time doing it. We would be less aggravated, frustrated and doubtful.

We would be trying to make more time to sit with Him and lay everything before Him, rather than spending more and more time trying to fix things that we have no control over.

Oh, the things that get accomplished through prayer.

Our King of glory, Our Lord of hosts, is there. He is listening for our voice. He is waiting on us to come to Him and spill it out. He has already seen, evaluated and figured out the plan. He has the answers for us. We just have to go and talk to Him, get the answer and move forward.

Make the time to spend with Him. Some of us need to take a vacation and get away. A retreat where it is just us and God.

Some of us just need to get in a quiet spot, shut off the phone, laptop, TV, music and just stay quiet for a bit.

And some of us just need to start taking a step. We have the answer we were seeking. Now we just need to do it.

Wherever we are at in our walk, the King of glory is with us. Praise be to Him!
