  • Bible Verse of The Day – 11-25-25

John 10:10 (NKJV) 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

In the enemy’s quest to kill, steal, and destroy, one of the tools he uses is drug abuse.

He tricks us by telling us it will make us feel good and forget our problems! But when it wears off, what are we left with?

A seed that is thirsting for more. And as we water that seed, it gets bigger and stronger in us.

I have to say that I have seen up close what alcohol and drug abuse can do to many people.

It is the enemy’s tool to make us think we can forget the things we need to face. Oh, how nice it would be to be able to turn it all off just like that, and forget everything that we went through.

But God did not call us to run from these things. And maybe it’s not meant for us to forget some of the things we have walked through.

Maybe God has a bigger plan for us to take what we have been through and use it in some way to bring good from it all and glory to Him.

If we would not run to the enemy’s tool, but let God help us through, He would give us wisdom and healing from that pain that eats away at us night and day; the sorrow that makes us sick and not want to get out of bed.

He will give us supernatural strength when we need it to get past those thoughts and feelings that hit from time to time.

The Lord is nearer to you than you would ever know. Give your brokenness to Him today. And, in return, He will give you life.

Psalm 34:18 (NKJV) 18 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.

    We are praying for you.

  • Bible Verse of The Day – 8-14-25

John 2:5 (NKJV) 5 His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”

    Are you broken yet?

The day will come for us all at one time or another when we are broken on the floor and we are looking up, and all we can see is Jesus!

Because Jesus is the only One who can help us get up. He is the only One with the strength we need in that moment to get up.

Jesus is the answer, has the answer and will give the answer!

You are not alone when you feel so broken. You don’t have to fight this fight alone. You have already been given the answer for your problem. And that answer is Jesus Christ!

He will guide you. How? Through our Helper whom He has given to us as we put our faith and trust in Him!

John 14:26 (NKJV) 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things,  and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

What help are you needing today? Do you want the answer?

Submit your entire self to Him, and get up off that floor, broken as you are, and take that next step that He impresses upon your heart to take.

We may say well, “I’m afraid! I’ve never done it this way before.”

No, we haven’t. And it may possibly be why we still continue to be in the situation we are in.

Do whatever He tells us to do!

God bless you. Our prayers are with you. And you are on a road of healing and redemption if you follow His lead to the end.

  • Bible Verse of The Day – 7-16-20

Ecclesiastes 3:3 (NKJV) 3 A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up…

When we are broken, we will often run and hide.

Broken people don’t like to be bothered. They feel ashamed because they are broken. They feel like no one understands them, and they feel like no one really cares.

It’s not true, though. Even if it might be hard to find people who care, we need to understand that God really cares.

1 Peter 5:7 (NKJV) 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

And for those of us that love God, He will touch our hearts at times and, if we obey, He will use us as His hands and feet to be there for the brokenhearted.

There are good people that do care. We just have to discern the ones that are sincere and not just speaking it, but are willing to take action.

Galatians 6:2 (NKJV) 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Being around hurting or broken people is not easy, and it can be uncomfortable at times.

It’s sad to watch, and it even hurts sometimes to see people go through such pain.

It takes a special person to stick around those who are broken. You will feel their pain at times. It will disrupt your sleep at night. It will disrupt your day. It will even leave you feeling sorrowful and sad from time to time.

As we bear one another’s burdens, we will find ourselves crying with them sometimes and rejoicing with them at other times.

Romans 12:15 (NKJV) 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.

As our leader, God will give us what it takes to help them through it.

Or, if we are the one that is broken, He will provide for us what we need to get past it.

Know that He is near. Don’t run away and hide. Let God heal, build us back up and save us.

Psalm 34:18 (NKJV) 18 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.

  • Bible Verse of The Day – 5-30-17

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV) 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

We are all broken in one way or another. None of us is perfect or complete, especially if we are trying to fix ourselves without God’s help.

There is a reason that God’s word says that Jesus makes us a new creation. Why is that? Because the old us is broken and in need of being made new.

We can never be fixed until we realize that we are broken. This was true before we found God and it is true even now, after we know Christ.

Even though God has made us a new creation in Christ, we can still be in need of His incredible skills to make new things out of broken vessels. Just because we have given our lives over to Him doesn’t mean that we are a finished product with no blemishes or problems.

On the contrary, when we came to Christ, we confessed our faith in Him. And in doing so, we admitted that we can’t handle everything on our own. So it’s important that we continue every day to place ourselves in His hands and let Him proceed to mold us and shape us into who He wants us to be.

Remember, it is not the well who need a physician, but the sick. And just as the sick need a physician, so do the broken need a Master Builder to make us new again.
