Bible Verse of The Day – 7-13-15

Matthew 9:22 (NKJV) 22 But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.

Your faith has made you well!

The woman in the verse above had a problem with menstrual bleeding for 12 years. In those days, according to The Law, women were looked upon as being unclean and not allowed to be around people during their menstrual cycle. But in order to get to Jesus and get her healing, she had to push through a crowd of people to get close to Him and touch His garment.

She was putting herself at risk just by being out among people during this time.

But, having faith will cause us to get up and move. It will cause us to take action! If we say we have faith, but we do nothing, then our faith is nothing more than words.

Many times there is a role we will play in getting our healing.

We need to press in and touch Jesus. Get personal. Get one on one with Him and get His plan; the role or action we need to take.

The first step is to have faith and believe that God can and will heal our body or help us with the situation we are in. It doesn’t matter who we are, where we come from or what we’ve done wrong. We need to repent, turn from it and ask for help.

Second step; press in. Spend time with Him, learning and growing. Our goal is to get close to Him and not just learn about Him, but to get to know Him. The closer we get, the more clear His plan becomes.

Third step; don’t be afraid to ask God how to take the steps of action that we need to take to get our healing or the solution to our problem, and then follow all the way through.
