Tag: What the Bible says about God’s love for the world

Bible Verse of The Day – 8-9-22

John 3:16 (NKJV) 16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

I often think of how much He loved this world; that for each one of us, He gave his only Son. Can we all agree together that God loved us tremendously?!

When you give up your most precious gift for those who don’t deserve it, what kind of love is this?

This is a love that is everlasting, sacrificial, free and unconditional. This is the highest form of love.

It is called Agape love! A love that, without God in us to show us, we cannot know or understand its power.

With this agape love, He took what He deeply loved, His most precious gift, Jesus Christ, and delivered Him up for us.

Romans 8:32 (NKJV) 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Love is where it all began and where it will all end. All this hate in the world will not win. All the evil that we are witnessing this day will not win.

God has already Won this battle.

His plan for victory has already occurred. And through His most precious gift to us all, His love will continue to shine bright and leave hate and evil in their rightful place; defeated!

Can we get an AMEN today, children of the Most High God? For we have already won! It’s love that wins every battle. We need to press forward in His “Agape love”.

1 Corinthians 13:8 (NKJV) 8 Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-18-20

1 John 4:18 (NKJV) 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

There is a lot to learn from this verse.

Most of us can easily understand and comprehend why there should be no fear in love. Love is, after all, not something that conjures up images of fear.

When we love someone, and someone loves us, there should be no fear associated with that relationship. Neither of the two people in that relationship should fear each other. If there is fear, then the relationship is broken and in need of repair.

This scripture, though, goes much deeper than emotional love between two people. It is really referring to the love of God, and our love toward Him.

You see, when we love God, we should not live our lives in fear of Him. Yes, we need to have a reverent fear of Him, but we should not be afraid of His judgement.

Why? Because perfect love, His love, casts out all fear. When we walk in His love, we begin to get an understanding that causes fear to no longer have control over us. It no longer causes us to be apprehensive or anxious.

And this can apply to much more than just the judgement of God. Once we are walking in the perfect love of God, our fear of other things will also begin to melt away.

We will no longer fear things that we can’t control. We will no longer fear people and what they might think or say. And we will no longer fear death.

We can do this because we know that Jesus overcame all of these things, including death.

John 16:33 (NKJV) 33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

So, don’t live in fear. Not fear of man, fear of judgement, fear of death or fear of things that are out of our control.

God is faithful, and He is way bigger than the things that usually scare us.

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-4-16

Matthew 11:28 (NKJV) 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Sometimes we receive questions from people by email, asking about different subjects and topics.

One question we’ve gotten a few times is whether Jesus came and died for everyone, or was it just for the Jews.

The verse above states very plainly that He came for all humanity. He never made any kind of reference, anywhere, to a specific ethnic group, skin color, etc. “Come to me, all”.

The word “all” is inclusive of everyone. No one is left out!

John 3:16 (NKJV) 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

The “world” is all inclusive. It leaves no one out, ever. Amen!

So if you ever doubt that Jesus died for every human being, regardless of who they are or where they’re from, don’t doubt any longer.
