Bible Verse of The Day – 5-23-26

Galatians 6:2 (NKJV) 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

There is something special about reaching out and helping others in need when you yourself are going through your own difficulties.

It’s where we find the greatest peace when we put ourselves aside and show concern about the problems of others.

Why?

Because it shows us where our faith and trust lie.

It is not within ourselves. It is in God alone. And when we are helping others instead of worrying or fretting about our own problems, it shuts our minds down and takes them off what we are going through.

It is a sacrificial giving of ourselves, and it causes us to have the strength we need to rise above our problems.

You may be going through something today. Pick yourself up and let God lead you in helping someone else that is also going through trials.

Give of yourself. Let His peace fill your heart and give you the strength you need to get through your situation.

Luke 6:38 (NKJV) 38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Bible Verse of The Day – 5-22-26

John 16:33 (LSB) 33 These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.

Sickness, disease, famine, injury, the loss of a loved one, betrayal by another person, financial distress, and many other calamities can and will befall each of us in our lifetimes.

These things are all part of life. No one is exempt.

And not a single one of us likes them. They’re uncomfortable, painful, stressful, and sometimes seemingly unbearable; gut-wrenching to the point of feeling like there is no possible way through it or surviving it.

Here is a truth that may be inconvenient to acknowledge, but we must acknowledge it.

Most of what we learn about trusting God is born in the face of adversity.

That’s a tough pill for most of us to swallow.

We want to believe that we trust God when there is no need for us to do so.

We want to trust Him, but we also want to cruise through life with no problems, no trials, and no worries.

Unfortunately, we can’t have both peace and the need to trust Him.

It is those times of tribulation that back us into a corner where we have no choice but to trust Him.

And as we learn to trust Him in those difficult seasons, that trust begins to spill over into our “normal” everyday lives.

It becomes something we don’t even think about. We just do it; walking it out one-step-at-a-time each day.

Then, one day we look back and see the fingerprints of God all over our lives. His mercy, His grace, His guidance, and His power all on display as He walked us through each trial we faced.

So, let us be careful to see His hand on us. And let us learn to trust Him even when there seems to be no reason to need to do so; that trusting Him will become as natural as breathing in and breathing out.

Bible Verse of The Day – 5-21-26

Romans 2:11 (NKJV) 11 For there is no partiality with God.

As I was recently helping my mom pack to go home from her visit with us, she quietly said to me, “God has blessed you.”

I stopped what I was doing, and she said again, “He has surely blessed you.”

She didn’t go into details as to why she said what she said. She just made the statement.

I thought to myself, “yes, He has, and I don’t deserve His blessings. But I have seen His hand on our lives tremendously.”

I was taken aback by it because my mom doesn’t usually say things like that. But, for some reason, she did this day.

Many times I have seen God’s hand on our lives. I am humbled by it, and I don’t look at it too closely because I don’t want do anything to interfere with it.

I have become more like a child in that sense. And just as a child looks to their parents for protection, love, safety and provision, I trust that He is there with us for all of those things.

I let Him do His thing, and I try to stay out of His way, thanking Him constantly.

I don’t ask questions. I’m just grateful!

We are so very blessed in ways that I know that it is only by His hand.

Do we think we are special because of His blessings in our lives? Absolutely not.

If anything, we are quite humbled by it all. We are not special.

He blesses all His children; He does not favor any one child over the other. He is Father to all of us, and He will meet our every need!

Philippians 4:19 (NKJV) 19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Bible Verse of The Day – 5-20-26

Romans 4:13 (NLT) 13 Clearly, God’s promise to give the whole earth to Abraham and his descendants was based not on his obedience to God’s law, but on a right relationship with God that comes by faith.

Let’s talk about Abraham, and the significance of these verses in Romans Chapter 4. There is much for us to learn!

The verse above shows us that God had promised Abraham he would be the heir of (would inherit) the world.

He chose Abraham because of his faith in God, not because of his obedience to God’s laws.

This is described in the verse above as “a right relationship with God”.

To define it more clearly, Abraham’s was a relationship that was always growing and becoming stronger. It was not something Abraham took lightly or approached casually.

That faith alone was credited to him as righteousness in God’s eyes.

The promise that God made to Abraham depended fully on him having a son.

But at that time, he and Sarah were childless.

Yet, even at 100 years of age, Abraham still believed (trusted) God to bring His promise to pass despite Sarah (his wife) being well past child-bearing age.

His faith never wavered.

Romans 4:19 (NLT) 19 And Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though, at about 100 years of age, he figured his body was as good as dead—and so was Sarah’s womb.

He was convinced that God would bring to pass what He had promised despite what it looked like to the human mind.

Why did he cling to this promise? And how could he have believed something that seemed so infinitely impossible?

Because he had spent his lifetime nurturing and growing his relationship with God. He couldn’t help but trust Him.

Romans 4:21 (NLT) 21 He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever He promises.

This is what God intends for you and me; that we grow and mature, getting to know Him so well that we can’t help but trust Him and take Him at His word.

Will you trust Him with your life?

Bible Verse of The Day – 5-19-26

John 10:3 (NKJV) 3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

You are beautiful in God’s eyes, through His Son, Jesus Christ.

He loves you.

He redeemed you.

He calls you His own.

Cry out to Him today, through Jesus, and He will listen to you. Your voice will be heard. He will help you where you are in need.

Don’t be afraid of Him; He is our Deliverer!

Psalm 18:2 (NKJV) 2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Bible Verse of The Day – 5-18-26

Ezekiel 36:25-27 (LSB) 25 Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your uncleanness and from all your idols. 26 Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to do My judgments.

I recently had a dream while I was sleeping.

The dream was very vivid. So much so that it stuck with me in detail after I awoke.

In the dream, I was in a room with some other people. These were people that I did not know. Most, if not all, were men.

I felt a strong prompting by the Holy Spirit to speak aloud, impromptu.

I hesitated, for fear of their reaction. But He urged me to speak, reassuring me that He would give me the words I needed to say. So, I began.

“God has told me that everyone here needs to repent.”

The room fell silent. But I continued.

“You have allowed your hearts to become hardened, and sin has crept in over time. And now you no longer feel the conviction of God’s Spirit.”

I saw one man, who was rather intimidating in his physical stature, being someone who was very physically fit. He began to gently smile as he heard the words of God flow out. He knew God was speaking and his smile prompted me to continue, as it reassured me that some in the room were receiving what was being said.

The dream ended shortly afterward, and I woke up enough to realize that I had been dreaming.

But the dream never left me. And God began to prompt me again, letting me know that this same message needs to be shared here, now.

There are some who read these daily messages whose hearts have grown hard; cold as stone.

Life has worn you down, and hardship has caused hurt and bitterness in your heart.

The promptings of the Holy Spirit are ignored; brushed off with disregard as though they are not happening.

You struggle to hear God or feel His presence. Because of that, you have given up.

And habitual, repetitive sin has slowly become a part of your everyday life.

This word is for you today. God sees your situation and He is reaching out with a message; “repent and return to Me.”

Turn from your sinful ways, go to Him and embrace Him once again.

When you do, He will replace your heart of stone with a heart of flesh.

As you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you. And as you seek Him with all your heart, you will find Him.

Today is the day. The moment is now.

Don’t wait.

Bible Verse of The Day – 5-16-26

Matthew 6:33 (NKJV) 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

As I take this day to stop and look at the blessings of God in my life and all around me, what do I know now that I didn’t know before?

I’ve learned that I can do nothing without Him.

I have been down many roads. I have taken many detours where I have tried to be that person; the one who wants to do their own thing.

That person who wants to make my own decisions.

That person who tries to get through hard times without anyone’s help.

That person who wants to say, “I did it all by myself.” All by MYSELF!

I’ve been humbled many times and found myself alone, crying out, “Lord, I need You, I messed it up again.”

I don’t look at needing Him as a terrible thing anymore. It’s not wrong to cry out for His help.

We are not a failure because we need Him.

No, on the contrary.

It is the way we were designed; to long for Him. To embrace Him! To learn from Him! To lean on Him and to seek Him!

We were made to love and serve Him. And He is there for us. He cares for you.

Peter 5:7 (NKJV) 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Let Him be God in our life today!

Bible Verse of The Day – 5-15-26

John 1:1-5 (LSB) 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. 5 And the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overtake it.

Sometimes we lose sight of things that are important.

We don’t do it purposely. It just happens.

We tend to retain and focus on things that are simple, easy to remember, and easy for our minds to comprehend and digest.

When this happens, we miss out on opportunities to better understand who Jesus is, and the depth of Him as a whole.

Today, let’s talk about that.

Try to wrap your head around who Jesus really is.

Here are some tidbits about Jesus in His fullness; some reminders for us to ponder.

He was there in the beginning.

Everything that was made was made through Him.

He took on human form to come to earth and dwell among men, to die, and be resurrected.

He walked in human flesh perfectly, without sin.

He is the King of kings, and Lord of lords.

He is the Alpha and Omega; the beginning and the end.

He is the Word.

His name is above all other names.

And the list could go on.

But suffice it to say that He is far deeper and much bigger than our human minds can comprehend.

We will come back to this topic next week, where we will break it down and connect some dots, so to speak, helping us tie together some facts that will help build our faith and understanding on this incredible topic.

In the meantime, just know this. There is none like Him.

Bible Verse of The Day – 5-14-26

John 7:24 (NKJV) 24 Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”

When we judge, we tend to do so by looking at the outward appearance of a person.

But righteous judgement comes from spiritual discernment based on truth and God’s wisdom.

We must let the Holy Spirit guide us in discerning situations or people.

There have been times when God has shown me things about a person’s heart, and I didn’t want to believe it. It hurt when He showed me this particular truth. I couldn’t have ever known it on my own.

We have to trust His guidance. I have repented at times for not wanting to believe, or for questioning what He was showing me regarding certain things about people. If we want the truth, He will not hold back if it is something that can hurt us.

He will protect us. And when He shows us things, it’s not for us to look down our nose at anyone. Most times it is simply to be aware of it and pray for the person or the situation.

His judgement is righteous. Use Spiritual discernment. He will guide us in all truth, especially in making the right decisions at times.

John 16:13 (NKJV) 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

Bible Verse of The Day – 5-13-26

Romans 3:30 (NLT) 30 There is only one God, and He makes people right with Himself only by faith, whether they are Jews or Gentiles.

It doesn’t matter what geographical location we might have come from.

It doesn’t matter what family lineage we were born into.

There is one God.

He created all we see.

And He justifies us (makes us right with Himself) one way; by faith (in Christ).

We all walk in the same sin. We all break the same commandments.

And we are all offered the same redemption; faith in Christ as our Redeemer (Messiah).

So, no matter our background, our upbringing, our heritage, our family lineage, or what sins we may have surrendered ourselves to, there is one Way out.

One Way to be saved. One path that leads to restoration with God.

Faith in Jesus Christ, the One Redeemer and Savior.

John 14:6 (LSB) 6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through Me.

If you are looking for God and need a way to Him, faith in Jesus is that Way.
