The deeper we go with God, the more we will realize there is a certain place where we belong, and a reason why we do what we do. Timing is everything!
We are not just here to live the lives we want or imagine. We can very well do that, it’s our choice. But, if we want God’s will in our lives continually, we will be willing to listen and watch for His direction and then do our part as well, taking steps when needed and in the right time. It takes us giving up our will and walking out His.
The most important thing to remember in this type of living is that God will move us to do things that we would never have expected or thought of doing. And that’s OK, as long as He is in it.
Being led by the Spirit of God is going to change us in many ways. Our mind will be transformed to think more about Him. It will no longer be so easily persuaded to just do whatever. Those normal, everyday, routine thoughts and things we do will no longer be as important as our submission to Him.
This won’t happen overnight, but over time, as we continue to give Him our all.
We will learn His voice and His promptings, and recognize when change has come and seasons have ended.
Psalm 143:10 (NKJV) 10 Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.
