Youd Daily Bible Verse – 3-6-12

(2 Sam 22:31 NKJV)  As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

When people fail us in life, we don’t have to think that God will do the same. People are not perfect, but God and His Son are! Therefore it is important to put our trust in Him and know that He will help us, lead us and carry us, build us and make us!!

We love our life and what God has called us to do. God has blessed us with such a wonderful family and good friends; people that support us and love us.

We just want to thank God today that we can trust Him. When He asks us to do something and we are afraid, as we take that step of FAITH He is right there with us.

All of you have been great in helping us to keep going and keep on doing what we believe God has called us to do! There is not a day that goes by that one of YOU does not encourage us in one way or another to keep going!! You don’t know how much you mean to us… what a blessing you are!

We love you all and pray daily for you, and we truly believe that God is doing miracles, healings, restorations and financial breakthroughs and more in your lives and in those lives that you are in contact with. We are sure of it!!

Trust Him with everything. Your life will be changed even more then you can imagine!!

Your Daily Bible Verse – 3-5-12

(Col 3:8 KJV)  But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

Even most kids know at a very young age what are good words and what are bad words. They know that if they say something bad or act miserable and angry towards someone, they get in trouble. As adults we know for sure, but because we think there is no accountability, no one will say anything to us because we are allowed… after all we are adults; it’s our privilege.

The thing we may forget at times is that we are all accountable for our mouths and attitudes towards one another. The things that we have gotten so desensitized to  are not and never will be desensitized to our Father!! These things are the very things He tells us to PUT OFF…Don’t do.

Imagine the HOLY ONE; perfect in all His ways, so beautiful and AWESOME. Our Heavenly Father wants to spend time with us, yet we wake up in the morning and begin our day by shouting and being miserable to our kids or our spouse, then we head to work and carry  our misery with us in there too. And all because we don’t feel so good, or we woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

We are accountable whether we want to be or not. God is with us.

Let’s examine ourselves today and make sure that the things we do and say and the way we act and carry ourselves are pleasing to HIM.

Your Daily Bible Verse – 3-3-12

(Luke 1:38 NKJV)  Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.

In the verse above, one of God’s angels had come to Mary to tell her that she was chosen to be the mother of God’s son. Mary received this word and accepted the assignment that God had for her.

Sometimes when God reveals things to us, it can be a little tough to swallow, even when it’s not necessarily a bad thing. I remember very clearly when God revealed to us that he was calling us to be pastors, we cried our eyes out. I remember thinking “no God, anything but pastors”!

As it turned out, the calling didn’t happen overnight and God took the time to prepare us for what He was asking us to do. And by the time it actually happened a few years later, we were pretty settled with it.

The thing is, we have a choice as to whether we want to accept God’s path for our life or choose our own path. Sometimes it looks easier to choose our own path because we think it requires less effort and less commitment. But in reality, if God chooses to use us for a specific task, He will prepare us and shape us for that task.

It’s not always easy, but it’s sure to be easier than any path we choose ourselves.

Your Daily Bible Verse – 3-2-12

(James 4:14 NKJV)  whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

What are our lives? They are so fragile, yet so significant!

No matter who we are, we can get caught up in the cares and ways of this world and before we know it, we’re thinking the same thoughts as those who don’t know God, toiling away to keep up.

In the end, there will only be a few things that will matter. Did we love God and live for Him? Did we love others as God loves us? Did we leave a lasting impression for those that we knew, directing their attention to God himself?

None of us knows when we will take our last breath, but we can make the absolute most of each and every day, living it to the fullest, loving like we mean it and shining God’s light and His love through our lives, each and every day.

We dare you to give this a try. It just might change your life!

Your Daily Bible Verse – 3-1-12

(Eccl 3:1 NKJV)  To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven…

As we follow God and His direction for our lives that there will be seasons in our lives.

I’ve learned that if I allow God to lead me, I may be doing something for a while and then God may switch it up. As soon as I start to get a little comfortable and secure in what I’m doing, it seems like things change. Seasons come and seasons go.

I’m a person that doesn’t care to change things. I like to know what I have to do and get really good at doing it. I love to plan and organize. But, I have learned to be ready at any time, for there will come new seasons when God has the reigns of your life.

Don’t be surprised if God decides to change something up on you. If you’re thinking you have it all planned out, remember that seasons change whether we think we are ready or not. Whether we’re ready or not isn’t what matters.

If God says it’s time to change, then we just have to trust Him.
