Bible Verse of The Day – 3-5-14

(John 3:17 NKJV)  “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

God’s heart is to see the world come to Him. He wants each one of us for His own.

He wants us to have eternal life, to be saved. How do we get to be saved?

(Romans 10:9 NKJV)  that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Today, if you have not done this, it is your day. God is calling you to Him and we pray that you, in return, will answer to Him.

Give Him your heart. You will have a friend that will stick by your side through thick and thin. You will never be left alone to handle things on your own. He is faithful to help you through this life and give you eternal life.

Prayer of salvation…

Dear God,

I’m a sinner and I come today and humbly ask for Your forgiveness.  I confess with my mouth that Your Son, Jesus Christ, died on the cross for my sins and was raised from the dead.

I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Savoir of the world. This day I ask Him to come into my heart and be my Savoir.

In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

Praise be to God! If you prayed this prayer, the angels are rejoicing, for you are born again! You are a child of the most High God. Jesus is living in you and you can cry out to God, in the name of Jesus Christ, and He will help you in any area of your life!

Please let us know if you prayed this prayer. We are standing with you and praying for you.

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-4-14

Matthew 5:14 (NKJV) “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden“.

Did you know that you are the light of the world?

Sometimes it can be hard to see ourselves as being light in this dark world we live in. We have so many faults. We make so many mistakes. And we are so far from being perfect.

But guess what! If you are a follower of Christ, a child of God, then you have God living inside of you. That is what makes us the light of the world!

You see, it’s not by anything we have done that we are light. Short of making a decision to place our faith in the Creator and the Savior, we can do nothing good and bring no light anywhere.

But with Him in us, we are light and we bring light wherever we go!

So remember this. When you encounter darkness, be light. When you’re in a tough situation, be light. When you feel like nothing’s going right, be light!

Anywhere we go and in everything we do, we bring light into every single situation and circumstance that we encounter, spreading it to those around us.

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-3-14

(Acts 2:1-2 NKJV)  When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. {2} And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.

Being in one accord means to be in agreement. When they came together, they were in One accord. They were all in agreement with what God wanted to do. It was then that the Holy Spirit came upon them.

We, the church, must be in agreement this day. Not for what we want to happen or what we think needs to happen, but in agreement with God and what He wants done.

We need to come together, believing and praying for God to help us make a difference right where we’re at. The Holy Spirit is who leads us and gives us strength, wisdom, understanding and boldness to do what God wants us to do.

Where do we start? (John 14:26 NKJV)  “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

Be in agreement with God. Receiving the Holy Spirit as our Helper is what will lead us and help us do the impossible and get the job done.

It’s the Holy Spirit who helps us to help those in the town we live in, the place where we go to work each day, the place we go to school, etc.

Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide us. He will show us what is missing, what is needed, what is going on in the area that we are in and what will help it.

Prayer first is so important! Sometimes we get going, doing our own thing and we exhaust ourselves and run out of energy before the work is done. Let God be in charge of what we do by being Holy Spirit-empowered. How do we do this? By asking the Holy Spirit to be our Helper and guide.

Let us be in one accord, receiving the Holy Spirit and going after this world together, filled with God’s power, strength, wisdom, understanding and boldness.

Amen.

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-1-14

Psalm 1:1-3 (NKJV) 1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.

Want to know the secrets to a fruitful, satisfying, successful life?

You just read them!

So many of us spend so much of our lives trying to find peace, trying to be successful, trying to find stability, but end up living unfruitful lives. We chase after success like it can never be obtained. And we live our lives unsatisfied and disappointed all the time.

But if we know God and really spend time building our relationship with Him, and we follow the path He has set before us, we will have satisfaction, stability and success.

God’s word says we will be like a tree planted by the water and that we will bring forth fruit in season!

So what more can we ask for? If we follow after Him and do the things He places before us to do, whether big or small things, we will be successful, we will have stability and we will prosper.
