Bible Verse of The Day – 4-8-20

Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV) 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

We all know people that we might call wicked. You know. Those who are conniving, hateful, unethical, thieves, immoral, and the list could go on. Wickedness can come in many forms.

And while none of us really likes to deal with wicked people, there is a far more terrible form of wickedness that we need to be concerned with; spiritual wickedness.

While we are fixated on the wickedness we can see, there is far worse wickedness going on behind the scenes that our natural eyes have no clue is happening. The only hint our eyes get is the outward manifestations of evil that are visible in some of the acts carried out by the carriers of this evil.

As believers, it’s important that we not spend our time wrestling with people, looking at them as the source of the battles we face. Yes, they can be used as pawns and tools of the enemy. But we need to remember that it’s the enemy that we wrestle against.

And no matter how wicked someone might seem, any time that we spend fighting with them is time wasted that could be spent fighting spiritual battles through prayer and fasting.

It’s important to note also, that wrestling in the natural often involves moves of trickery and fake moves, or deception, to fool the adversary into thinking one thing will happen, while it’s really something completely different that hits them and knocks them off their feet.

The enemy works this way in the spiritual realm, constantly at work to deceive the saints and derail our walk with God.

Lastly, it’s important that we take note of the 4 different levels of spiritual rankings; principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, and spiritual hosts of wickedness.

It was only by the spirit of God that Paul came to understand these things. And it is only by the spirit of God that we can recognize them and do battle against them effectively.

It’s time, church, for us to gird ourselves up for this battle and stop running. It’s time for us to learn to recognize the enemy that we wrestle against and take up the weapons of our warfare.

2 Corinthians 10:4 (NKJV) 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds…

Bible Verse of The Day – 4-7-20

Psalm 62:7 (NKJV) 7 In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God.

And our refuge is in God; Our safe place, our stability, our peace and our strength. So, where do we want to be? In God!

Today we have to ask ourselves, “where am I?”.

Am I in my head? Am I in my work? Am I into my status and my reputation? Where am I?

Am I in my thoughts, my concerns, my constant caring about situations? Where am I?

We need to get our whole being in Him. That means, all this stuff weighing on us? We need to take it to the cross, lay it at His feet, and listen to His directions.

God is our salvation. His is our glory, our ROCK and strength. Most importantly, we need to know He is our refuge, as long as we are in Him.

How do we get in Him? Through a one-on-one personal relationship with Him, through His perfect Son, Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV) 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Bible Verse of The Day – 4-6-20

1 John 1:9 (NKJV) 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

We all sin. There’s no question about that. And those sins may vary from one person to another as to the type and the frequency of those sins.

So, it’s safe to say that sin is something that we all have in common.

But there is one other thing that we have in common. We have a Father who is willing to forgive us and cleanse us from our sins!

All we need to do is confess those sins to Him and He is faithful to forgive those sins.

Even more, though, His word says that He is also faithful to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Think about this for a moment. If we are a child of God, even though we sin, sin has no hold on us if we understand how to deal with it.

And the best part is that this isn’t complicated. It doesn’t require a ritual. It doesn’t require a priest or a pastor. And it doesn’t require an animal sacrifice, or the shedding of blood.

The blood of Jesus, shed over 2,000 years ago, was enough to wash away every sin committed by every person, across the entire world, from the time of Genesis 1:1 to the very last person, in Revelation 22:21.

It’s up to us whether we pay attention to this and follow what God tells us to do. But it’s important that we remember that carrying unconfessed and unforgiven sin around is like carrying around a backpack. Each sin is like a rock that gets tossed into the backpack. Over time, that backpack will get pretty heavy if we don’t empty it out.

It will weigh us down to the point of causing us to become tired and weary from dragging it around. And before we know it, we won’t be able to bear the load any longer.

We need to go to Him. Confess our sin. Ask for forgiveness. And then work on fixing the things that keep causing us to sin.

It’s that easy.

Bible Verse of The Day – 4-5-20 – The Prodigal Bride – Part 2

Please click to watch the video now.Greetings in the name of Jesus!

We hope you are well and walking closely with our God.

Today’s video, The Prodigal Bride – Part 2, is very powerful.

As we continue from last week’s teaching, God begins to lay bare some schemes of the enemy that he has been using for the last half century to slowly disable the bride of Christ and bring her not only to her knees, but to lay her flat on her back.

This is critical information for the bride of Christ, so we hope you will take the time to watch it.

Please click here to watch the video now.

We love you all and want to see you grow in your walk with God.

Sincerely in Christ,

Bible Verse of The Day – 4-4-20

Ephesians 6:10-11 (NKJV) 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

What is armor? Armor is used to protect the body during battle.

God says to put on the WHOLE armor, meaning we shouldn’t leave out one little part or piece of it. Because if we do, we can get badly hurt or even killed.

If we went into battle and we forgot our helmet, our head would get damaged. If we forgot our breast plate, our chest would get damaged or we would be killed. etc.

We need to have it all on to be fully protected while in battle.

If we forget to put on a piece of God’s armor, chances are we will get attacked in that area, for the enemy will spot that it is not protected. That lack of armor is his way in. He will aim for it and hope to bring destruction, and ultimately take us out.

Ephesians 6:14-16 (NKJV) 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

When we get up each day, we need to know the truth and stand firm in it. We need to practice what’s right, in spite of what our flesh wants to do.

We need to be alert and ready at any time to share His love, while keeping our eyes and ears open to Him. Walking in the steps He has for us is essential to fighting off the fiery darts that come our way.

We will win if we are tight with God, the Armor is on and active in our lives.

Bible Verse of The Day – 4-3-20

2 Corinthians 3:17 (NKJV) 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Peace and chaos.

Those two things can say a lot about who or what is in charge.

During recent weeks we have seen a lot of chaos.

Why? Because the world is largely Godless, rendering them helpless when they face a crisis.

When God is present, peace will always take precedence. Where He is uninvited, peace will be absent, and chaos will take precedence.

It’s important that we understand this even in our homes, where we are the holders of the keys, determining what gets let in and what gets shut out.

As we put God on the throne in our homes, we will see and feel God’s peace begin to permeate our home. It will be something that people will notice when they come in.

If we have pushed God out, or if we allow things to enter our homes that are not of God, chaos will be more likely to be present there.

And we see this happening in the world on a large scale recently. God has been kicked out. Peace has disappeared. Chaos takes precedence, running rampant across the globe.

Let’s be sure we are putting God first in our lives and in our homes, giving Him permission to rule and reign there, inviting His peace to dwell there and to permeate our entire home.

Kick out the enemy, sending him packing, taking his chaos with him as he leaves.

We have the right and the authority to do this, and we encourage you to do so.

It starts at home, and then let’s work to bring God’s peace with us, everywhere we go.

Bible Verse of The Day – 4-2-20

Romans 6:23 (NKJV) 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Yesterday we talked about this same scripture. Today, let’s take a look at it a bit further.

What a beautiful gift we have been given. A deep and meaningful, long-lasting and purposeful gift.

What do we have to do to receive such a gift?

The gift itself has been purchased by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. All we have to do is believe and receive it.

God is Good!

One might say, “boy, that is more than my head can comprehend”.

Absolutely! That is why we do not accept this gift with our head, but very much from our heart.

Romans 10:9 (NKJV) 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

This is a heart to heart gift!

Will you confess, believe and receive the gift of eternal life today?

Dear God in Heaven,

Thank you for sending this precious gift to earth, your Son, Jesus Christ; the gift of eternal life.

I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from the dead. Your Son, our Savior, is alive! I receive Him today with all my heart. I repent for my sins and ask for Your forgiveness, and to set me free from the clutches of death and destruction. I want to follow You.

I thank You, and I worship You today, Father, for Who You are. And I give You all of the glory. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Congratulations!

You are now a child of God. All the angels in heaven are shouting right now because of your new life with Christ, forever! Hallelujah

If you have just read this and you have become a believer because of it, please reply to this message and let us know! We want to celebrate with you!

Our prayers are with you.

Bible Verse of The Day – 4-1-20

Romans 6:23 (NKJV) 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

As a young adult who was not a believer, I remember very clearly hearing this scripture for the very first time.

It helped me to understand the “wages of sin” by showing me sin’s consequences; death.

40 years later, as I read this verse again this morning, my eyes were first drawn to that same thing; the wages of sin.

But God quickly pulled my eyes to the last half of the verse; the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

And all I could say was “Wow”!

He reminded me of His gift to all mankind, through Jesus Christ; eternal life.

What an amazing gift indeed. There is no gift on earth or in heaven that tops this one. And oh, how I want others to receive this gift.

My heart aches for the lost, the dying and, yes, even those who do evil in our eyes, appearing to care for nobody but themselves.

I know the One who can change their hearts, remove the scales form their eyes and make them a brand-new creation in Christ.

My prayer is that they find Him and surrender their lives to Him, so they might also know this wonderful salvation offered so freely.

Please join us in praying for the nations, that the lost and dying will look up and see their Creator, and embrace Him with newfound faith and trust in Jesus.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV) 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Amen.
