Bible Verse of The Day – 2-12-26

Isaiah 43:2 (NKJV) 2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.

We will all walk through difficult times.

We can have financial problems, marriage difficulties, struggles with our children, or the pain of a broken heart from a lost loved one.

Are we struggling through work-related conflicts, etc.? He will walk through it with us and show us how to get through it all.

This means we are not on our own unless we choose to be.

Most times we know this. But as humans always trying to fix things on our own it is very hard to change things up from the way we are used to doing them.

But if we choose to walk with Him, He won’t forsake us.

We will walk with Someone great. Someone with power beyond what we can imagine. Someone full of strength and might! Someone who is Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent!

God Himself is that Someone. He is so awesome, we will come through the fire unharmed!

That’s a promise!

What difficulty are we facing today?

Do we really think we are going to handle it on our own? If we don’t see any way out of it, and we have no answers, then we need to stop trying to do it by ourselves. Let Him do His part.

Amen.

Bible Verse of The Day – 2-11-26

Psalm 84:11 (NKJV) 11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.

God is good!

The goodness of God is better than anything else on this earth. His favor is with His children, and if we obey Him we will walk in His grace and glory!

It’s not always easy to obey God’s leading. Sometimes it can be very uncomfortable around certain people and crowds.

But as we stand firm and do what is upright, even in the face of those who will laugh and make fun of us, God will be glorified!

Romans 1:16 (NKJV) 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

We don’t realize the impression we leave on someone who is watching us when we do what is right vs. whatever everyone else is doing.

It may be the only right thing that a person sees in their lifetime that catches their attention and causes them to want to change from the way they have been living.

We just never know what we may unwittingly be doing when we are obeying God and doing what is upright.

Keep up the good work. And know that His favor is with you for life, and joy will come in the morning!

Psalm 30:5 (NKJV) 5 For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.

Amen.

Bible Verse of The Day – 2-10-26

Mark 7:14-15 (LSB) 14 And after He called the crowd to Him again, He began saying to them, “Listen to Me, all of you, and understand: 15 there is nothing outside the man which can defile him if it goes into him; but the things which proceed out of the man are what defile the man.

Yesterday we discussed Mark 7:5, as Jesus rebuked the religious leaders for elevating their traditions over the commandments of God.

We also used the verses above to point out that it is not what goes into our bodies that defiles us or makes us dirty, but what comes out of our hearts.

Today we want to discuss a different aspect of this truth that Jesus was using to show people that a new covenant was being prepared; a covenant that would change everything they knew and understood.

As Jesus spoke the words above, in verses 14-15, he alluded to the fact that it is not what goes into the body (what is eaten) that makes a person dirty.

Although He was using it to rebuke the religious leaders, there was a deeper meaning that He was implying; that there were no foods that could defile a person.

This was a concept so new to the Jews that it was difficult for them to grasp and accept.

But this was Jesus’ way of slowly ushering them into the New Covenant that was about to be unveiled.

He drove this point home afterward when His disciples questioned Him about what He had said.

Here is what He said to them.

Mark 7:18-19 (LSB) 18 And He said to them, “Are you lacking understanding in this way as well? Do you not perceive that whatever goes into the man from outside cannot defile him, 19 because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, and goes to the sewer?” (Thus He declared all foods clean.)

The spiritual seasons were changing, and He wanted them to recognize it and understand it because it was a major part of why He came; to set humanity free from the traditions of men and bring true freedom in the Spirit.

This was sealed in Christ’s blood, as evidenced here, as He breathed His last breath and surrendered up His spirit:

Mark 15:37-39 (LSB) 37 And Jesus, uttering a loud cry, breathed His last. 38 And the veil of the sanctuary was torn in two from top to bottom. 39 And when the centurion, who was standing right in front of Him, saw the way He breathed His last, he said, “Truly this man was God’s Son!”

That tearing of the veil was a tangible representation of a spiritual change in seasons; one that would forever alter the path of humanity and usher us into the age of God’s grace; the New Covenant 🙏

Bible Verse of The Day – 2-9-26

Mark 7:5 (LSB) 5 And the Pharisees and the scribes asked Him, “Why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with defiled hands?”

As Jesus become more well-known, and the religious leaders of His day became more zealous in their efforts to discredit Him, they presented Him with many questions that they thought would cause Him to stumble in His answers and expose Himself as a false prophet or teacher.

The question above was one of the questions that they used to accuse Jesus of not properly educating His disciples.

What they failed to discern and prepare for was the ability of Jesus to know their hearts, and the fitting responses He so quickly fired back at them.

In this case, Jesus didn’t address the lack of hand-washing on the part of His disciples.

Instead, He scorched the religious leaders with their insistence on putting the useless traditions of man before the commandments of God.

Mark 7:6 (LSB) 6 And He said to them, “Rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from Me.

Jesus immediately rebuked them with the words of Isaiah, proclaiming their hypocrisy. For they honored God with their lips despite their hearts being far from Him.

And a short time later He explained to the crowd exactly what He meant.

Mark 7:14-15 (LSB) 14 And after He called the crowd to Him again, He began saying to them, “Listen to Me, all of you, and understand: 15 there is nothing outside the man which can defile him if it goes into him; but the things which proceed out of the man are what defile the man.

His point in this was that what defiles us (causes us to be dirty) is what comes out of our hearts, not what goes into our mouths.

But the larger emphasis was on the hypocrisy of the religious leaders’ failure to love God’s commandments and laws as much as they loved their traditions.

Interpreting this into New Testament lingo means loving God wholeheartedly, and putting Him FIRST, before our habits, traditions, routines, and rituals.

This is what God asks and expects of us. Let us gain understanding in this and apply it to our lives daily 🙏

Bible Verse of The Day – 2-8-26 – From Law to Grace

Please click to watch the video now.Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus!

The grace of God is a wonderful mystery that we may never fully understand.

But despite not being able to fully comprehend it with our human minds, it is grace that we live under in this spiritual season. Grace replaced The Law through the death of Jesus.

In today’s new video, we teach about the transition from Law to Grace, and how Jesus tried to help the people understand it before it took place.

We hope you will find this video eye-opening and insightful, and that it will strengthen your understanding of the word of God.

We love you all!

Bible Verse of The Day – 2-7-26

Matthew 17:15 (NKJV) 15 “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water.

This man’s son was an epileptic. Yes, he had a disease. But what kind of disease will cause him to throw himself into fire and into the water.

This so-called disease had this child bound like a prisoner.

The man brought his son to the disciples for them to cure him. But their efforts were fruitless. The disciples could not cure him.

So the man went to Jesus and told Him that His disciples could not cure him.

Matthew 17:16 (NKJV) 16 So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.”

Jesus’ response was, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you?”

His disciples, not having sufficient faith, were not able to bring healing and deliverance to this man’s son.

Matthew 17:17 (NKJV) 17 Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.”

Jesus then took the son and rebuked the demon out of him, and he was cured.

Matthew 17:18 (NKJV) 18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.

The disciples came to Jesus in private and asked Him why they could not cure him. He told them, number one, because of their unbelief. And, number two, this kind does not go out without fasting and prayer.

Matthew 17:20-21 (NKJV) 20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. 21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

You see faith, prayer, and fasting are what it takes to remove strongholds, or demons.

Some sicknesses or diseases have their root in demonic powers; physical symptoms stemming from a spiritual condition. This demon held the man’s son captive.

We don’t always know what the cause of some sicknesses or diseases might be. But our Helper, the Holy Spirit, Who has come to teach us all truth, will know what the root of a situation or condition is.

We fully understand that it’s a hard thing for parents to see or acknowledge that their child may be captive to a demonic power.

But it’s also a hard thing to watch our child be destroyed and suffer from these things.

If your son or daughter suffers from disease or mental health issues, have faith today. Pray and fast for them that God will reveal the root of their condition, and that they may be healed by His power.

Amen.

Bible Verse of The Day – 2-6-26

John 1:14 (LSB) 14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

This verse is explosive in its proclamation and spiritual significance.

The human mind cannot truly comprehend or contain it.

It is impossible.

But it is something that we must try to grasp the best we can, with the help of the Holy Spirit.

God is incomprehensible. He is too big. Too complex. Too vast in scope and power.

Yet we know, He is.

Thus, the phrase, “I AM THAT I AM”.

John 1:1 says far more than we may ever be able to process, but let’s look at it.

John 1:1 (LSB) 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The Word, Jesus Christ, existed in the beginning. He was not a creation of the Father. He did not suddenly appear when it was time for Him to walk the earth among men, “God with us”.

Everything that was created was created through Him.

Now, consider that God took it upon Himself to clothe Himself in human skin, and come to earth to walk among us, feel what we feel, and die as we die.

The raw truth of this fact is mind-numbing.

God, the all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present One, came and dwelt among men for a season.

How can this be? By what process did he do this or make it happen?

That is not for us to understand. It is too big. And far too complex and unexplainable.

Yet it happened!

This is the God we serve. The God we worship. And the God we will stand before and spend eternity with if we have made ourselves His.

Stand in awe today. Marvel at His magnificence.

But most of all, trust Him in all things.

Bible Verse of The Day – 2-5-26

Philippians 4:8 (NKJV) 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

It’s so important to take control of our thoughts and the things that take up space in our heads and our hearts.

If we are the type of person that likes to fix things, we will focus on finding the solution in everything we come across that is going wrong or looks as though it may go wrong.

We are motivated by problem solving, by finding answers for what we see happening. We try and come up with the every possible answer.

When we focus on finding the solution to things we see that aren’t right, it can cause us to stay in a constant negative outlook for everything.

Just like anything we do on a regular basis, it will become part of us. And can change our character, and or person.

Troubleshooters or problem solvers must remind themselves that even though this is part of our makeup, a piece of who we are, we need to remain balanced.

At the end of the day, remember the things that God says to meditate on; it’s surely not the problems. But to let what is praiseworthy have precedent over our thoughts!

Amen.

Bible Verse of The Day – 2-4-26

James 4:10 (LSB) 10 Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.

The importance of humility before God is often overlooked in the big scheme of things.

We may understand that it is important. But we may also fail to recognize how important it is.

Therefore, it frequently gets neglected.

If we were to look at this objectively and honestly, we would see that humility before God is the foundation of our relationship with Him.

It takes humility to admit that we need Him.

It takes humility to recognize that without Him we are lost and condemned to hell.

And it takes humility to surrender ourselves to him in obedience.

If we could just get those three areas right, so many other areas of our lives would begin to fall into place. Many of our problems would slowly disappear.

Why?

Because we would be subjecting ourselves to the Kingship of Jesus Christ and allowing God to change our hearts so that we would live and walk more like Him.

Have you ever noticed how much humility is required to admit when we are wrong?

Or how about when we realize we have wronged someone and we need to repent and apologize, asking for forgiveness.

We need to multiply that humility exponentially to understand the level of humility that is required in our walk with God.

And what does the word of God say will happen when we put this into practice?

He will exalt us.

1 Peter 5:6 (LSB) 6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time,

Bible Verse of The Day – 2-3-26

Proverbs 2:2 (NKJV) 2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding;

How do we find God’s wisdom and understanding? One step at a time.

All the wisdom we need is in the word of God. It’s crucial that we spend time in His word. It’s also important to be in prayer and listening for His voice and promptings at times.

John 10:27 (NKJV) 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

Wisdom comes in letting Him guide our steps through His word. Every step we take in obeying Him will bring the wisdom and understanding we need for that moment, hour and situation.

How do we hear His voice? He speaks through His words. All the scriptures were written for our guidance.

2 Timothy 3:16 (NKJV) 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

We often cry out for God to give us wisdom. But we don’t spend time in His word. So, we don’t know the steps He has for us to take.

And what happens? We remain in the same state of mind and the same situations. Nothing changes.

We must put the time in. He’s not going to just do it for us.

He gave us His word to follow. Through it we will find guidance. And by obeying we will grow in His wisdom.

Proverbs 4:7 (NKJV) 7 Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.

Find His Wisdom and understanding for your situation today in His living word to you. Read it, obey, and walk it out.

When we are faithful to spend time in God’s Holy Spirit-inspired Word, and we obey what He tells us to do, His wisdom will be moving and alive in us!

It is then that we will see things change, and wonderful things come to pass!

Amen.

Bible Verse of The Day – 2-2-26

Psalm 73:26 (NKJV) 26 My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

We live in an upside-down world.

Evil is called good. And Good is called evil.

The depravity of humanity is on full display for all to see. And most people barely blink at what they see.

Sin runs rampant. It no longer hides in the shadows. Instead, it shows itself boldly, as though taunting God and His people, saying “you can’t touch me”.

But a day is coming when the world will be judged for what they do.

We will all be judged. No one is exempt.

And our deeds, both good and evil, will be laid out and examined. And we will reap from what we have sown during our lifetimes.

Have we been washed by the blood of Christ? Have we subsequently surrendered ourselves to Him, allowing Him to shape us and change our hearts?

Do we honor Him with our lives?

You see, our flesh is weak. It is fickle and self-centered.

But God is our strength. Where we are weak, He holds us up if we ask Him and allow Him to.

He strengthens us and sets our feet on the right path.

And His word shines a light on the path He wants us to walk.

So, though we may be weak, and our flesh may fail, let us look to Him for truth and righteousness, that we may serve Him wholly and bring honor and glory to Him and His kingdom.

For it is only in Him and by His Spirit that we are able to do so.
