Bible Verse of The Day – 3-20-18

Ezekiel 36:26 (NKJV) 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

So many people have tried to make it in this life by doing things on their own and in their own way, doing whatever they please and loving it that way.

And yes, in some areas it may seem like they did pretty good on their own. But in other areas they dislike the way they handle themselves in their decision-making.

Their wanting to answer to no one has kept them from living a better life. It has kept them from knowing, and walking in, the greatest LOVE of all.

The good news, though, is that as long as we are breathing and still alive, we can change this in a heartbeat.

It doesn’t matter how old we are or how long we have lived this way. We can give up this stony heart and receive the heart that God has for us.

It is impossible to live this life without God and be truly happy and content.

The man who walks with a hard heart is miserably taunted, depressed and lonely. This man hurts in many ways, and he can’t fix it. He has assured himself many times, thinking this is all there is to life. The hardness of his own heart has determined his life and destiny.

When we walk with God, we are not perfect and our life isn’t perfect. But He takes our hard heart and softens it, and we become more like Him.

We care more; that right there is HUGE! That will make us change in so many ways. When we can take ourselves and put “us” aside, watch out!

We also begin to love bigger! What? Love bigger? That’s right, we begin to love someone and don’t even understand why. It just begins to take root in us and we just follow along. It’s a beautiful thing to experience.

When we walk with God, we walk in His blessings each day as we obey Him. We are happier and full of His JOY. No matter what comes our way, He will get us through it.

What a difference He makes when He touches our heart. Thank you God, we receive YOUR touch today! Amen.

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-19-18

Psalm 30:5 (NKJV) 5 …Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.

Are you weeping, going through a trial or a dark season in your life?

Are you wrestling with something that’s trying to take you down or knock you backwards?

Do you feel like you take two steps forward and three steps back?

This happens to all of us at times. And yes, sometimes it can make us feel like we’re completely in the dark. Sometimes it can even make us feel like we’ve been abandoned and God doesn’t even hear our cries.

But, this is not the case. It’s the farthest thing from the truth!

No season and no trial lasts forever. Each one is different, and each one endures for different periods of time.

But one thing is for sure; Joy will come!

It may not always come when we think it should. It might not come how we think it should. But if our trust is in God, joy will come with our victory.

We need to hold fast to God and His promises at all times, especially during times of darkness and weeping. Our trust needs to be in Him alone!

And in due time, when He knows it’s right, He will bring the darkness to an end, the sun will shine and our tears will be dried. Amen!

Praise Him even in the darkness. Light is coming soon.

Bible Verse of The Day – Twisted Faith – 3-18-18

Greetings!

God has given each of us a measure of faith. He did this for a very good reason.

Many of us view our faith in a twisted way that God never intended. So it’s important that we are careful not to let our faith become twisted in this way.

We just published a new video on this topic.

Please click to watch the video now.

What is twisted faith? Why is it dangerous?

We explain this in detail in the new video.

Please click to watch the video now.

Once we understand faith, and how God intended it to be used, it will change our outlook on everything.

Please click to watch the video now.

We hope you enjoy the video.

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-17-18

Mark 9:38-39 (NKJV) 38 Now John answered Him, saying, “Teacher, we saw someone who does not follow us casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow us.” 39 But Jesus said, “Do not forbid him, for no one who works a miracle in My name can soon afterward speak evil of Me.

As Christians, followers of Christ, we can become prejudice in our own little ways if we are not careful.

For instance, there are times when we may think that if someone doesn’t go to the same church we go to, or if they’re not in our group or our denomination, we have the right to snub them or disrespect them.

We may even go so far as to think we need to teach them and show them how it’s done, our way.

These are things to be very careful of because, like the disciples, we can approach things in the wrong way. And our actions toward other brothers and sisters in Christ can be rude, hurtful and out of line. We can get caught up in sectarianism.

What is sectarianism? It’s excessive devotion or attachment to a particular sect or party, especially in religion.

Today, ask God to help us to walk by His Spirit. To love, listen and have discernment, not trying to figure things out by intellect, and act out of line.

Don’t let our lack of knowledge of others be destructive towards them just because they’re not in our group or because they don’t think or act like us.

As God’s children, we need to unify and come together by being respectful, kind and supportive of each other. Jesus says to love one another.  And not just in our hearts, but in our actions as well.

John 13:34-35 (NKJV) 34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-16-18

Matthew 18:4 (NKJV) 4 Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Who will be the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

This is a question that the disciples asked Jesus. They were trying to figure out which of them would be the greatest.

Wow! When Jesus heard their question, He wasted no time in putting them in their places and setting the record straight!

Jesus had them bring a small child to Him. He told the disciples that whoever humbles themselves like a little child will be the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. This was definitely not what they had expected to hear.

God and man think differently. Man looks at outward things, while God looks at inward things.

We see accomplishments, while God sees our heart and its motives.

Humility is a hard thing for many of us. We have a tough time getting past our own skills, talents and accomplishments. But we need to remember that it was God himself who gave us those very same skills and talents!

Without Him, we can do nothing.

John 15:5 (NKJV) 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

It’s important that we keep God first. He will teach us to be humble in everything that we do.

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-15-18

1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (NKJV) 4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;

Love does a lot! I guess we can say that’s why God wants us to walk in it. Not only to walk in it when we feel good or are having a good day, but walk in it even when we feel lousy. Or when we just want to be left alone.

We all have those days. They kind of sneak up on us. And we think because we are having a bad day, we have the right to just act the way we want, or say what we feel. But that’s not the case.

God wants us to rise above how we feel, and persevere by being kind to others, especially in those moments.

When we can do this, then we will know that we are growing and maturing in Christ.

Love is where it’s at.

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-14-18

Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV) 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

As we walk through life, we make a lot of choices. Every minute of every day we choose one thing over another.

Ultimately, our choices make up the pieces that form the complete picture of our lives.

God has things for each and every one of us. He knows us better than we know ourselves. And what He has for us is far better than what we can imagine, or what we would choose for ourselves.

As humans, we tend to choose what’s good. Sometimes we do make bad choices and choose something that’s not good for us. But, by and large, we choose what’s good. And when we do this, we are eliminating the option to get what’s best.

You see, when we let God order our steps and make choices for us, we don’t get what’s good. We get what’s best. His word says that when our steps are ordered by Him, then He delights in that person’s way!

Psalm 37:23 (NKJV) 23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.

He delights in us! Why? Because we are choosing His way, the best way, instead of our way, the good way.

And this makes all the difference when it comes to the direction our lives go. We have His peace. We have His joy. And we have His strength.

When we choose His best, there is nothing that comes against us that can defeat us. When trials come, we can stand in confidence, knowing that He has it all in His hands.

What will we choose? Good, or best?

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-13-18

John 14:27 (NKJV) 27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Walking in peace is something we all want to do. Sometimes it’s really easy. Things are going great and we feel peaceful and rested. Life is good! Amen.

But, there are times when things may get stirred up a bit. Things change, and it doesn’t take much before we begin to feel the heaviness that change can sometimes bring.

Life is going to come with some bumps in the road, some hurdles to get over, and its ups and downs. Everyone will face them at times.

We have to remember that even during those times, we can walk in peace. We just need to understand that “we are not alone.” We have Someone standing with us who is willing to help us carry the load and help us make the necessary adjustments. He will give us a shoulder we can rest our weary heads on.

Today, if you are in a season of change, don’t try to stand alone. We will lose our peace if we try to do it alone. Reach out and let God fill in the blanks with His direction.

We love you and our prayers are with you.

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-12-18

John 3:19 (NKJV) 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Darkness reveals itself in many ways. One way is by its deeds. Deeds of darkness will be evident to those who see them.

Jesus came to bring light into the world. He was both welcomed and reviled. Those who sought truth and light loved Him and couldn’t get enough of His teachings. They surrendered their hearts and lives to Him.

Those who operated in darkness hated Him and did everything they could to extinguish His light, including having Him scourged and crucified.

And although it may have appeared to some that they won, and His light was snuffed out, He had the final say when He rose from the grave and ascended to heaven, to sit at the right hand of the Father!

As followers of Christ, we should make every effort to walk in the light. Walking in the light speaks loudly as to where we stand. Our deeds are the visible fruit of where our heart lies.

1 John 1:7 (NKJV) 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

And though we will all slip up occasionally and do the wrong thing, those instances shouldn’t be a regular part of our lives. In other words, as we walk and grow with Him, our sins and shortcomings should decrease as we mature as believers. If we’ve been a child of God for a long time, our habits and behaviors should reflect this, not the opposite.

This is, first, a decision that we make. And, second, something that we do, by walking it out.

If the things that we do regularly are more darkness than light, then we need to search our hearts and ask God to show us where our allegiance truly lies. And then ask Him to change our hearts, so we reflect His light.

Are we running from the light and hiding in the darkness, so that our deeds won’t be seen? Or are we running to the light so that we may be cleansed and live our lives in truth and freedom?

It’s up to us. We are the ones who choose.

Choose light and choose life.

Bible Verse of The Day – Faith and Projects – 3-11-18

Greetings fellow believers!

We pray that your life is being blessed by God.

Did you know that faith and projects go hand in hand? That’s right!

God doesn’t give us faith simply for the sake of us having faith. He gives us faith so that we will trust Him more and so we can use that trust to let Him guide us through the projects He gives us to complete.

We just recorded and published a new video on this topic, and we’d love for you to watch it.

Please click here to watch the video now.

In this new video, we share some Biblical examples of this. We also share how this has affected our own lives.

Please click here to watch the video now.

We hope that this video will shed some light on this topic, giving you some direction in your walk with God and the projects He asks you to complete for His kingdom.

Be blessed in all that you do.

Sincerely,

Bible Verse of The Day – 3-10-18

Luke 22:40 (NKJV) 40 When He came to the place, He said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

Temptation comes in many forms. It isn’t always blatant in its attempts. Sometimes it’s very subtle.

And, the things we are tempted with can also sometimes be subtle and seemingly innocent.

When we are tempted, especially if we are fairly mature as a believer, the temptation might not show itself as directly leading into sin. Instead, we may be tempted to doubt or even to move away from God, even if ever so slightly.

You see, if the enemy can get us to move even slightly away from God, he will work on us a little at a time to keep at it. And before we know it, we are far enough away from Him to begin believing lies as truth, or to accept wrong as right.

Then this leads to a growing amount of sin in our lives. So, what started out as a single, small temptation, leads us down a path that slowly, but surely leads us further away from God, instead of closer to Him.

So, it’s imperative that we recognize temptation in all of its forms, and we turn and run from it as soon as we see it for what it is.

1 Corinthians 10:13 (NKJV) 13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
