Bible Verse of The Day – 3-4-16

Matthew 11:28 (NKJV) 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Sometimes we receive questions from people by email, asking about different subjects and topics.

One question we’ve gotten a few times is whether Jesus came and died for everyone, or was it just for the Jews.

The verse above states very plainly that He came for all humanity. He never made any kind of reference, anywhere, to a specific ethnic group, skin color, etc. “Come to me, all”.

The word “all” is inclusive of everyone. No one is left out!

John 3:16 (NKJV) 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

The “world” is all inclusive. It leaves no one out, ever. Amen!

So if you ever doubt that Jesus died for every human being, regardless of who they are or where they’re from, don’t doubt any longer.

Bible Verse of The Day – 6-27-15

Luke 12:6-7 (NKJV) 6 “Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God. 7 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

Not one of us are forgotten before Him. This kind of stuff blows my mind when I try to comprehend it.

God surely knows us and what we may be going through at any given time. Knowing the number of hairs on our heads is a BIG deal! That’s a lot of knowing.

Let me reinforce that and say it again; nothing is hidden from Him.

He knows all of this stuff about us; the things we have been through, the things we are going through and the things we have done, and yet He does not condemn us, but He wants to help us get free and be saved.

John 3:17 (NKJV) 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

What a loving Father, with a beautiful, compassionate heart!

Surrender everything to God today. He will guide us and protect us. Amen.

Bible Verse of The Day – 12-25-14

John 3:17 (NKJV) 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Jesus, the Messiah.

He came to earth and walked among us. Immanuel, God with us, came not to condemn us, but to save us from our sin.

It is through His life, death and resurrection that God offers us freedom from sin and death.

It is through His life, death and resurrection that God builds a bridge to close the gap between sinful man and a holy God.

So as we celebrate His birth today, do so knowing that Jesus, the Christ, was the ultimate expression of love and forgiveness. No greater love was known before, nor has greater love existed since.

And on this Christmas day, we pray God’s peace and His mightiest blessings over you and your loved ones.

And may God’s joy fill your home.
